Vintage restorations require vintage tools! haha - worn sanding discs just become another softer grit, eventually becoming cardboard for polishing! Boiled linseed oil - the choice of those who care. The step stool with upgrades looks fantastic. Thumbs up for creativity!
Nice Alex! You know seriously the old tools do work best for restoring old things. I use them all the time especially for furniture they just fit better. Very enjoyable video! I was so happy to see ya on Instagram! Take care Buddy!
@@Bloodshed.restorations Ya it's a little tricky but if you want look through my list so you can find all of our buddies. It won't take long until you get the hang of it. You gotta post Crocky!

Great restoration Alex. You did a jam up job on the seat. Every one needs a stool in the shop. Great video.
@@Dalesworkshop cheers, my friend, life in the shed has been more comfortable since andc I've had many a cup of tea sat on it.

Great idea to make the step dual function
@@xlfive thanks, born out of necessity with my dodgy back! It's one of the most used things in my shed. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
