Ill explain what each do good Mono- Pros: stretchy so it performs well on baits with treble hooks, soft so it casts well, and cheap Cons: not the most durable or long lasting, stretch can also be a con on bottom contact baits where good sensitivity is necessary. Good around rocks and wood with reaction type baits Fluorocarbon- Pros: stiff, has stretch but not as much as mono, it sinks so there is less bow in your line giving you better connection to your bait and increasing sensitivity. Cons: bad memory and slightly less smooth than mono. Also expensive. Good around rocks and wood on nearly any bait except a top water. Braid- Pros: extremely strong and smaller diameter for a certain breaking point, cuts through grass well as its small diameter and rigidity allows it to cut instead of wrap, no stretch good for bottom contact and heavy cover situations where sensitivity and power after the hookset is key Cons: No stretch since it has no stretch it does not perform well with most treble hook baits, topwaters are an exception to that. Very visible in the water, bad around wood cover as it cuts into the wood and can cause snags. Hope this helps people understand the differences and strengths of each type of line, people say you only need this or that but I feel that this is a category where variety is key.
You messed this video up pretty good. 😅
Nah
Bro said middle of the pack when it comes to strength but it IS the strongest. 😂
I slipped, I meant to say middle on price
Homie you called fluorocarbon mono at first.
My b, words can be hard
I feel like mono wears down the most and braid is least abrasion resistant
Braid frays super easy against rocks though
Bass pro brand as well as Sugar line are made at the same place with the same line they just change the box.
Hmmm
Yeah it crazy
Huh
Ill explain what each do good

That’s what I wanted to convey in this short video, but 1 minute isn’t long enough to properly do so
He said mono twice
Meant Fluoro. My B
I dig it
Thanks
How can it be middle of the road strength and the strongest chief?
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say price
how did you mess up this bad
Whatcha mean? I speak truth
Esther.
?
Fishing Line 101
Exactly
Braid=catfish
Exactly
Nah I prefer mono simply because of the abrasion resistance I've had cats roll themselves up in my braid and almost cut it with their barbs
I’ll take a mono leader for that reason, but a braid mainline
