How To Hook a Texas Rig - Tuesday’s Tackle Tips
Finally some content!!
You’re welcome. Full length videos coming next week
Zebco 33 is absolutely the best most reliable hands down!
50 years unchanged
yep they're kinda like a ford, fix or repair daily
You don't fix what isn't broken! I've never had a Zebco 33 completely fail on the water but others have!
A LOT of rods to choose from... shows three..
You can only do so much in a minute. They break down into countless subcategories, but these are the broad 3
You got the right attitude and personality to make it in the online world, keep it up
Thanks, those comments make my day!
@SC Traditions Could you please give me the name of that spinning rod, I’ve been needing a nice one for awhile, or if you have anything else to recommend, I could use that too. Thanks!
Im a big fan of Lew’s. They are good quality especially for the price. If you wanna go higher end, look at pflueger
Love the background music
Thanks
I've gone probably 14 years... in those 14 I've never caught a walleye... until i used a bait caster.
Coincidence??? Maybe, but I’ll choose to believe what I want to believe!
@@SCTraditions exactly
Yeah boy
Full length coming soon!
you forgot the boots! Those nice Vibram shoes with the yellow tag under it when you're sitting on the ground and pointing your boots towards the turkey lol. Make sure to cover those boots ya'll!
I actually sharpie over the labels typically, just grabbed the wrong boots
On average decoys literally do as much harm as help. Its a complete tossup.
Funny how a bird with a pea size brain outsmarts so many
I hate it.
Congrats on 700 subs! Sorry for not responding as much as I had, I've just been really busy with some stuff.
Same bro and thanks
Great tips
Thanks man
Wow thats awesome!!!!! Good job glad to see at it again!!!❤
Thanks!
Sorry I’m late but congrats glad your getting videos posted and congrats on the degree
Thank you!
When exactly is early, mid and late season though? Spring season ends here May 19th. but I plan on going out this weekend 4/27. I have my eyes set on a massive Tom that frequents the same cove every morning, I just have to lure him closer. Thanks!
It really depends on your climate. Look up your state’s turkey breeding season, they divide it in thirds. That’s how you can get early, middle, and late seasons
@@SCTraditions Ohh completely makes sense now!
Just caught my pb crappie on one fishing from the bank gotta love em
I wish I could say the same, but that AWESOME!!!
When is it considered mid season
Mid April or so
Another trick if you can have the hand face in your direction the time will move around in front of her fan heading your movement as you raise your gun
I’ll take note of that
im trying to go on my first turkey hunt, just waiting on my tags so im studying up before the big day
Well we’re wishing you the best of luck here at SC Traditions
Ok, I've got the Red Head combo Gen 2 remote control, and I have the Primos Jake you have pictured in your video. That decoy will also accept the Gen 2 remote motor. I have two Flextone hens in different poses, but I intend to start with the Red Head combo (Jake has a real fan given to me for that purpose) alone. We'll see?
Sending you the best of luck!
@@SCTraditions Thanks for that!
Will be hunting out of the new Tidewe double blind in a week from yesterday. My camo is all solid black. The back wall of the blind is black, to kill (as much as possible) any profile of the occupants, or their movements in the blind as long as they sit towards the back of the blind. Of course that is a special situation that a ground blind hunter gears up for, not a run and gun hunter as many are. I understand your camo needs as stated! I'm relatively new (Rank amature actually), but these videos are a real help coming out of the shute, so to speak, but after hours and hours of practice on slate and box calls, I have one more advantage on this upcoming opening day. The farmer alerted us (Son and I) that last evening there were in excess of 300 Turkeys in his field we'll be hunting. I suppose we could screw that up, not even trying. But we're a quick study, so eventually we'll get it! Thanks for the video!
We’ll keep me posted on how it goes. I love that the videos are helping though!
I have been hunting turkeys 33 years and being out there every chance I get before the season those birds teach me something new every year. The best way to learn about them is get out there with the turkeys also the NWTF has a lot of good information on wild turkeys and try and get a turkey hunting video from the early years of Druy outdoors and Eddie Salter videos and some Quakerboy videos and some of Will Primos from Primos calls are good there is not a lot of turkey killing but a lot of interesting information on how turkey hunt most of those videos are late 80’s and 90 videos. Also a good person to learn about turkey hunting on You Tube would be Dale Outdoors. And one other thing a lot of these guys that are telling you what to get for turkey season is get a decoy what they don’t tell you is those decoys will mess your hunt up.What happens is when you put that decoy out a lot of times once the gobbler sees the decoy and hangs up where you can’t shoot him , you have to remember we are reversing nature by trying to get the gobbler to come to us but what normally happens is the hens go to the gobblers .
Exactly. I’m liking the way you think
I’ve had instances where the decoys actually repelled the gobbler n his women. It apparently wasn’t his first rodeo.
They have a pea size brain but they are smart
Awesome! I have a taxidermy alligator head myself, and I can confirm they are really cool!
Super cool
that aint a problem, you got options!
I like the way you think
I will admit, I’m not from the Carolinas, but I love their mustard bbq sauce.
Our bbq is the best
I go with the spicy bbq like the renfros chipotle or local stuff
It’s good in some situations
Sweet baby rays and Stubbs is the only way to go
They all good
Just gonna say if you need that much sauce then your cook isn't doing their job!!!
It’s mostly as an ingredient, never as a topping. Plus, eat food the way you want to eat it, who cares
Carolina style for pulled pork (HEB brand) Texas style for beef SBR for the kids and as a base for bbq chx pizza. KC masterpiece for grandpa. Japanese bbq sas for asian style bbq.
If we talking Carolina, it better be mustard based
@@SCTraditions oh absolutely sir. Its the 3rd ingredient after water and sugar.
Good man
I found THE FINAL FORM of BBQ Sauce! Use it for all applications and tastes great! Take Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Honey and Brown Sugar, any size, Mix the two well, enjoy as a dipping sauce or use with heat to cook out the vinegar. The taste is amazing!
I’ll have to try it
My fridge would be all salsas 😅
Dang, I feel that
All the worst brands
Shealy’s is good and cattleman’s ain’t bad either
bro had everything but great value wtfym?
@@AfternoonProductions I see you have no taste either
@@SCTraditions wrong
I’ll respect other’s opinions. No harshness here
yeah thats my fridge..bet you have few bottles of worchestishire sauce. and several hot sauces too.
You know I do
No Gates, or does Kansas not count?
Gates, never heard of such?
I like craft and sweet baby rays is overated 🤮 im picky 😂
Mustard bbq sauce is where it’s at!
@@SCTraditions I don't like mustard😭
Well it’s not straight mustard, mustard is just the main ingredient
My problem is hot sauce
I feel that
Use em all
For sure for sure
@@SCTraditions Yup. My mom puts them together and mixes in some of her own ingredients and it slaps!!!
Beautiful
The view was too
Good video! Nothing pisses a gobbler off like seeing a jake trying to mate with a hen. Just a little tip for you guys and gals.
Especially late season
It is tho
True
Did not miss getting up early for deer hunting
It’s all worth it in the end though
@@SCTraditions yep, unless you get shot.... like me...
Well that’s not good
@@SCTraditions yep
darn right!
For sure
Just a wee bit early
For sure
Awesome you are so blessed to have such clear water here in the uk the farmers and the lot dont appreciate our river's enough
Actually that’s a fish farm, that’s why it’s so clear. Our mountain streams are pretty clear, but not much else
Awesome!
Thanks
Good informative video, thanks.
No problem, glad you enjoyed
