Thank you for posting this. It's Christmas morning and the first time I'm alone on this morning (usually I'm with my family) so I've been reflecting a bit too much on some of my misery. But your video really helps me see that I need to focus on what's in front of me, not on what I've lost or what I've desired and have not achieved. SO thank you for lifting my spirits on this Christmas! Also weirdly we have the same snowman bench here, all the way across the world. Had no idea they would be found in Japan too!
Awwww you just made my day too ❤❤❤ It was worth working on this video just because of your kindest comme t !! Thank you so much ❤ I totally understand you, I used to do the same and i still do sometimes, we all do, but we should also celebrate little wins we have every day. Even a tiny little thing :) There are seasons in life too, so you don't have to rush too :) Thank you for watching my video on Christmas 🎄 ❤ I wish you the best of luck in 2025❤ Let's focus on what's in front of us together and keep going on our own pace!!!
Just last night my wife and I were sitting in the same picnic table area where you filmed this, looking at the Christmas lights. The ACROS building was lit up, the big pink heart was on, and all of the food stalls were open. We decided to sit down and take everything in even though it was raining. What a great coincidence!
You're absolutely right. I've always known how to make things fun, work too. At 54 years old, I don't feel that I've worked a day in my life! Been living and working in Japan (Chiba) for 28 years ;)
Thank you for posting this Miku Sensei. 本当に本当に. Recently I’ve been experiencing burnout from UA-cam and after reflecting on this year, I realized that I spent the majority of my days working on videos and not really living. Almost to a point where I feel kind of sad. Whether I made the right choices or not, I don’t know but like you said life also has its’ seasons so maybe this was just a season. During this break I gave myself, I’ve slowly started to come to terms with enjoying the process and after hearing you mention it today as well, I think I’m headed in the right direction. おおきに❤
I really enjoy watching "Japanese Listening About LIFE" since the content is useful and the Japanese level suits me :) I am actually still not fully recovering from burn out, so currently I am trying to do what I like without forcing myself too much when learning Japanese (I don't enjoy studying from textbook. I love watching videos and listening J-music). I will take things slowly to make sure I don't get burn out again and I can enjoy learning Japanese in long terms. Thank you and I am looking forward to upcoming videos. Merry X'mas! :)
There us an interesting book about what you were talking about at the beginning, called 'Mindset' writtern by Carol Dweck, explaining the differences in approaches to life of people with fixed mindsets versus growth mindsets, main diffeeence is people with growth mindsets are actually sel-ENCOURAGED ti try harder when they fail.
Arigatou for your videos. i almost stopped learning japanese this year and wasn't sure when i ll get to travel to see ur country and then i saw both ur videos and could connect so much to it. i felt everything u said. thank u Miku San for keeping us inspired and wish you a very happy 2025. Bless you.
I really like Ado-san her example (her hard work as utaite her personality) and her voice are my source of inspiration for learning Japanese. when I listen to her when I communicate with her fan's it's helps me keep going Ado's songs help me remove some negative energy and gives me a lot of positive I think I can say this way
this video I really enjoyed to watch not because it's helps me to learn language but because I resonate with your message I think it's compelling input for me. I completely forgot about I listened in a foreign language I just absorb the message and it can easily rich to my subconscious and i'll acquire language this way I think it is one of the best type of leatning video when one can completely forget you learned a forgen language.
Fukuoka is relatively near the islands where Christianity is somewhat prevalent in Japan, so I wonder if that’s one of the reasons why there are plenty of Christmas markets in Fukuoka
Your video is needed and wonderful for many reasons (learning Japanese, your opinions, sightseeing, etc).... thank you! I have one question: where can I get your gloves?! 🧤
A bird pooping on you is supposed to be good luck .. go figure 😂 Study is only fun if you have friends to study with/ from , besides natural Japanese isn't the same as textbook Japanese.

Really???? 😂❤ That's funny !! Haha We might meet somewhere one day haha 😂
Music has a way of bringing that energy out in people, at least it does for me. Will be in Fukuoka in a couple of weeks, cant wait!
