if you are "upgrading" or purchasing a first camera to the a7iii, its the best, but i started with a7iv as my first camera and recently bought a a7iii for backup, its such a big difference and its frustrating to use going from a7iv to a7iii.
Yes. But check for dead pixels on the body & fungus on the lens before buying. Also, test the AF thoroughly. My friend got a 2nd hand lens with bad AF. And if you're a videographer, check the IBIS on the body.
I do use Sony A7 III + Sony 85 1.8/f and Tamron 28-75mm 2.8/f. That cover almost every situation. I'm more focused in Lens. Next I'm gonna purchase 70-200mm Song GM OSS II
I just bought this camera today paired the Tamron 28-70mm f2.8. It was a toss between the FX30 and the A7iii. I chose this camera, because it is enough for my needs in documenting daily life. I’m sure I will love it.
Ofcourse A7III. Fullframe sensor much bigger, can catch much more light, more dynamics, way better high i so performance. APS-C Sensor with 26 MP (A6700) dorsn't deliver such clean results, apart from low iso.
The a7iii is great for beginners in 2023. It’s affordable and has as many functions as you could hope. But, any mirrorless camera from the last 5 years from Sony, Nikon, Canon or Fujifilm is trustworthy and great for beginners. If you’re on a budget you could always buy a cheap secondhand DSLR 😎 Good-luck!
@@changefranchanI know your comment is old but recently just got the A7III as well. My first camera, I got it for about £950 used. The condition is great with just a few signs of use (marks here and there on body) and the shutter count was only 7000. This camera is a beast for the price if you get it used in good condition. Always check the shutter count when buying used.
Shot with it professionally for 5 years after moving from Canon DSLR..... was "OK" far from mind blowing I moved back to canon as just found the Sony lacking in some areas I think the only things I miss about it were the AF and Low light they were on point for sure, I'm terms of image and colours I'll take my 5dmkiv and R5 all day long.

SONY FE 1.8 / 85mm Only downside is the LCD Screen being limited by its ability to flip and have super useful positions which they fixed on the A7IV..... overall nice camera ❤️🔥
Just picked up an A7iii and am frustrated to know about the software issues that are related to connecting it via Bluetooth. I wanted to be in the field be able to share shots on socials right away.
I have this same camera! But… I have a kit lens STILL because I’m not sure where to upgrade or what is a best overall lens for both picture and crispy videos.. does anyone else have this camera with any lens suggestions?? 😅😅 TIA! 🤘🏽🖤
Got one for a few years already, too. Th A7 IV may be even better, but the A7 III is so good that it does everything I need it to do. Therefore I won’t upgrade in the near future and rather invest in high quality glass.
Im looking to replace my Sony A65 which has been the work horse of my photography work and its beginning to show its age after 14 years of work, and I am completely torn between purchasing the A7III and the A7IV. I have a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to handle my videography work, so I am mainly looking for a more on the photography side of camera.
This camera for sure. It’s oldest of the 3 so cheaper. In theory anyway! Also, it’s full frame so you get a bit more bang for your buck compared to the a6700. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
im thinking about getting a camera but im between this camera and a fujifilm x100vi in my country they are about the same price what would you suggest?
The a7ii is a bit outdated at this point. The image stabilization isn’t quite there and it’s a little laggy. I really suggest saving a little for the a7iii. It’s preforms MUCH better and is more reliable in important shooting situations ✌️
I have 2 a7iv’s and one a7iii. Regarding photos, the a7iii is still very relevant. The only huge con with the a7iii is the 30 minute limit video recording. Great C cam for short interviews and also is a very reliable backup. I can’t see myself ever using it as my main again after buying 2 a7iv’s. My last opinion is that if your only shooting photos then go with a cannon(way better skin tones and color overall in my opinion). If you are a hybrid shooter then yes they are good, not great.
a7iii is great camera. I bought a7iii, 3 times for some reason. Image is crispy sharp, good low light things and cheap. I have a7iv now. but I miss a7iii.
it gets the job done, but definetly not the best choice out there.. had 3 of those myself, but a few user experience quirks here and there never allowed me to like the camera ^^
I've had the mic jack break on me twice. Don't really recommend this model for videographers if the mic jack is important to you. Other than that, the camera is amazing
I owned a Sony a7. I didn't like it at all. I don't know why I bought it, I wanted to try them Because everyone was saying how amazing they were. But It really wasn't. The screen wasn't that good considering Sony's reputation with amazing TV's, the EVF was awful, the menu system is really bad, the focussing wasn't that great, the ergonomics were uncomfortable and the battery life was abysmal. I bought one 2 weeks ago. I moved from an a7r2 to the a73 and I’m happy. Is faster, better ergonomics and for my budget nowadays is my ideal choice
