Number of mountain bikes ive folded in half and destroyed that were made out of carbon fiber and kevlar..countless. Number of tennis rackets made out of the same ive destroyed by just regular use. Dozens. Carbon fiber and kevlar is ULTRA sensitive to UV decay. Leave that racket out in the sun for 1 day and you just cut it's life in half.

Flying airplanes is pretty safe if you follow the safety standards, but if you take shortcuts when creating an airplane, you're going to significantly increase the risk. If you stick to the standards, there is little chance something will go very wrong.

Built a new one from scratch which uses tons of money or use the parts that are still good for another sub.
