About to start on my 91 SSP and I’ve been stewing about all the trim. It’s not really beat up, but was really badly painted by the last owner. This was a massive help and I’ll probably be back to watch it a dozen more times before I take that on.

Has anyone did a video of restoration while on the car? You can easily put 3x5 or playing cards behind the rubber trim between the paint so it doesn’t get messed up or bleed through.

finally Getting to the point where I need to get my windows ready for my resto. I came back to this video for the products you used. Thanks for sharing this process. Where you able to retain the factory line that"s cut into the top portion on the rubber?

    • @417fox

It is less noticeable but you could always add a strip of Fine Line tape to prevent filling that area with filler.
