From watching your channel I’ve become less afraid of the spiders that reside outside but invade when cold and or lots of rains. I have a designated spider jar to collect them and release back into the nature.
My favorite channels getting together to declare official that those pretty blue squishies are Gummy Worms! I lived to see that! I can go in peace now! (jk, not gonna go anywhere (bad, at least). XD

I FINALLY got these for my A. chalcodes and only one was alive when they arrived. It wasn't looking too good, but I hadn't been able to get Tarantula Chow for several months, and she was starting to get...grumpy. So I checked it out. It seemed sluggish, but likely from the poor packaging rather than illness, so I offered it to Fluffernutter. She was excited, then timid, then accepting. That was at the beginning of September. She hasn't eaten since. She's redecorated her enclosure three times. She sleeps in her water dish after draining it and replacing it with dry dirt, then spends the rest of the day on the wet spot. And she watches me, now. She follows me around the room in her enclosure, moving to keep me in her line of site. Which is ridiculous because tarantulas don't see well...right?
Anyway, the hornworm has either taken over my tarantula and usurped her consciousness or given her strange new powers.
Do you keep the lower portion of their substrate moist? That may help settle them 😊

@@cleosworld9096 mostly. She’s gotten more sluggish. I think she’s in premolt. Her carapace has darkened considerably and she still refuses food.

Hey so i was wondering if you could possibly help me, I recently got a female Mexican fireleg and pumpkin patch sling, my sling is eating pretty good and doesn’t seem to be having any issues, my Mexican fireleg is about 3 inches. I have had her for about a week now and I have been trying to feed her every day since I received her. She just doenst seem interested in wanting to eat. I’m using crickets, what am I doing wrong or what could I do differently. I know theirs many variables that could Lead to her not wanting to eat but I can’t seem to find many husbandry videos on firelegs as is.
They are always the hardest feeder for me they are too cute.

Also want to send you a mist spray bottle so you can water your plants without hopefully spooking your spiders.

So sad that hornworms are so hard to come by in Europe. I found 5 of them for like 25 USD. But as a pet trade/breeding the moths and not as a feeder.
