That's what the concept is of America is about, but it hasn't been like that since the mid-century. Every single adult I know works till their fingers are bleeding and sometimes literally, and every adult I know is barely not homeless. We are all one to maybe 2 months away from being homeless every single paycheck we get. I know two people who are not in that scenario out of probably two to 300 adults in my life family and friends this country has become a place to set you up for failure. Either keep you where you are nice and low or push you even lower and then complain that you are homeless and then pretend it's by choice. This is the most vile sick country because of the facade that it portrays of what it is versus what it actually is
