The engine doesn't really live upto the 70 lakh price tag. Wonder why jeeps in India are way more expensive than the ones abroad with bigger engines, given the fact that they are being manufactured in India.

It's the Indian government tax even after making in india the taxes are much higher than US.
Thar has significantly diminished the brand value of the jeep wrangler in india. Most people on road will mistake this car to a thar 5 seater which is about to release soon.
