You should try Hades going into Ares while getting Vault of Erebus early. The elder cylops throw is absolutely broken if micro'd. I've killed swarms of 30 archers/slingers with 3 cyclops throwing units at them
Yo Magic, I'm often ahead early in the game around 10 min mark because I go full army with 2 stables and 1 barrack opening.What should i focus on first with my first raid ? Villagers, buildings, tower, TC, army ? I often get the lead early but cant seem to finish the game. You could do a quick video about what to focus on when attacking ! Thanks
Sure but as a rule of thumb, villagers first if you can get to them, if not then try to pick off stray units and if not then you can do other things like destroy buildings, it’s a bit more complex than that but that’s the basics
magic could you make a short video explaining how you get into and take out the villagers so fast in TCs, towers, atlantians houses etc. I guess it takes practice but it looks always so simple, may be there are some tips with hotkeys or commands

It's really hard to find build orders for new civs to try and sometimes replays do help with that (being able to see what both of you go for). This is mainly for first person games.
Hey Magic, have you experimented with Gaia's reduced resources for Hero Citizens bonus, could it be used to keep up with Thor? Assuming one keeps making hero citizens through out the game if your resources permit it.
I would love to know you thoughts: "Individual" Techtree for Minor Gods I wish for another change concerning the techtree: It would be so great to have the possibility to make a pre choice of the minor gods which then lets all the units and techs these gods don't have disappear. What do you think? Would you need this at all or is it not neccesarry for you? I think it would be great to understand the possibilities and weaknesses of your choices better, but also just makes it easier to get an overview. PS: When you play team ranked only the player who hosted the party can see the techtree. This should be changed also^^
Would you like to share your hotkeys? A short video of what and why do you use and hotkeys, I'vs been struggling with that part of the game because I haven't play RTS as much as some other game and this game has more hotkeys than anything I'vs seen so far.
Have you ever experimented with Rhea against Norse? Although giving it 2 seconds of thought you obviously don't need the arcus armor upgrade and the other tradeoffs aren't worth it just based on what I'm seeing Huh kinda answered my own question. Oops. I'm just thinking +20% hack armor vs Norse seems really funny
Two things to ask; 1. is stationing 4 oracles enough to make favor in mythic age? If not, how many oracles are recommended? 2. I can see that you made only fanatic and arcus on human units... are they only ones to mass produce in atlantean's late game? If not, which addtional unit of kind of you recommend to make?
@@IamMagicAOM What about the units from the barrack & counter barrack (aside from arcus)? Are they not worthy to make? Just make 10 palaces and mass produce fanatic and destroyer? Hmm, that will cost lot of wood and favor indeed... 😅
Obviously I'm not as goof as IAmMagic, but I would also Contarius are quite good to make, especially with all the upgrades they get from this minor God path. They are really good at raiding with the enhanced slowing tech.

Also, has anyone else had an issue in multiplayer where you can’t see any upgrades in Thor’s dwarven armory or husbandry, pickaxe, and hand axe? I am not playing with mods, I can see that stuff in a solo skirmish, but can’t see it in multiplayer matches.
@@VividSoulSagei had the same issue, i deleted UserProfile.xml, found in C:/Users/[your user]/Games/Age of Mythology/[steamid]/users then relaunched the game. your settings and hotkeys will be lost so take screenshots of those before doing this.
I upscaled this to 4K, let me know if you guys see a difference

I don't think it will keep up with the Thor eco, but I could be wrong!

I like Theia a lot and the Behemoth is a very situational myth unit, so not sure if it's the best choice

Late game 6 should be good, I think arcus, fanatics and destroyers are really good

@@hawkster8951 lots of things are situational depending on what your opponent makes and also the map layout, it’s not that straight forward many times

One of my friends had this issue. Reinstalling fixed it but that can't be the only way I'd imagine.
