Ken Block's Subaru will forever be the most iconic rally car in history, and thats on GOD. The man literally singlehandedly brought motorsport to the mass global media
Yep. Ken was an icon and innovator but only from the mid 2000’s onwards (I still watch his gymkhana’s regularly and loved watching him compete in RX) but back In The golden era of group B, rallying was bigger than F1 and televised every single weekend along with European rallycross.

Overall I'm a little disappointed...
Though, I do still like it... A bit.! 😉 😉 But I certainly can't recommend it.!
I hope this helps you (it's certainly helped me to get it off my chest).!
Please stay safe out there & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
Michelle Mouton made this car relevant. lol
it's the lower case T screw!
I just got that body but is dark green. I cut the wheel wells to fit my hbx 2997
That is the GOAT!!! 💪💪💪💪
Nice looking car, they do it in 1/24 as well 👍🏻👍🏻
ooo… maybe tbe escort or the mini 🤔 but i have a feeling this comes down to one’s favourite maybe 😂👍
i saw ogiers polo at full pelt and those new hyundai and they are astonishing
I think a piece of cut-off Lexan may prevent body damage from tire contact? Especially since the arches on this model are so flat, it should be easy to source.
@@Zermattquattro Keyword European. Outside of that, nobody had any idea Rallying even existed. And people probably still wouldn't if it wasn't for Ken.
RC screws are pretty much always Philips screws. Wood screws are Pozidriv.
Apart from the millions of Tamiya & Kyosho screws that are JIS ;)
@@TomleyRC ah yes the Japanese industry standard. I must admit I have had to file the very tip off of some of my Phillips screwdrivers for a better fit in some screws I'm guessing they are JUS screws 😊
@@51im Building a Tamiya is so much easier with a JIS... took me many years to figure that one out :)
@@TomleyRC might be useful to a lot of people if you did a video pointing out that not all cross heads are equal and the difference between them
Oh wow, is that Alvaston BMX track next to the R Derwent? Used to race that track, was my local, before this it was at the old Derby Greyhound track (County Gaol) Some summer events we would ride and jump the bikes into the river.
I may be wrong but it looks like warsop bmx track to me
I see that rc10 in the background!
It’s a shame that they supplied a copy of a standard UR quattro’s road car wheel rather than the Gravel Speedlines that Audi sport actually used back in the day.
Nice to see it out, this is one car i would be tempted to buy to just play around with. Looks 👌 im sure a certain French lady would have something to say about the only for men part 😁 she sure could peddle a car 👌
Had a 1/10 carisma Naughties i think o early tens 😅
This is the car that got me into cars. I've been waiting to get one since they announced it!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Does anyone know the actual KV of the motor?
I love the onboard camera shot! What do you use to do that?
The 959 is quicker than the Impreza version and is a really durable platform. They are pretty hard to find now but i somehow ended up with four of them…
4 haha… I wish I’d never sold mine
@@TomleyRC if you want one of them I’m sure that could be arranged!
I’ve got two kits of Porsche 959, one for bashing one as a shelf queen….now I am wondering would the Audi body fit. I think there is like 6mm difference in wheelbase, that should be direct fit right? :)
After watching the videos on here and deciding how awesome it is, I bit the bullet and brought one which turned up today. I've not had a chance to go for a spin yet , but just ran it up outside the front door. It definitely hunkers down like a quattro.
Anyway..........has anyone added the extra stickers or l.e.ds yet?
"Just here to do a bit of sliding around"
Proceeds to jump the car 😂
Cheers dude good times
lol…
Lovely... Probably get one even its not the best. Can't help loving audi
Great Video! Is this Carisma better than the Cen Puma? (Considering price, performance, durability etc..)
Michele would be impressed with your driving bro. Nice little car.
She wouldn't be impressed by the slogan "group B was for men" on the box 🤦🏻😂
Cheers dude haha
@@bigswoop5143 You got that right
Tyres look great now
Cool video. What camera do you use on the car?
Just seen the Mclaren in the back of the Hilux. I have a toy grade 1/18 version and was going to see if you wanted to do a 'who can get the fastest speed out of it' video. Guess that's put the kybosh on that idea 😂😂
I love this car!! Can’t wait to watch this
This is on my birthday list!
Why nobody talk about the Carisma Subaru M48S with brushless motor?
Tyres are an instant upgrade
Plenty of grip on Tarmat, the tyres dont last long though
I wonder if they scaled the speed?
Could the motor/esc be upgraded like the Subaru Rally car too? Would it be the same process?
Are you Ever planning on doing a review on the kyosho fz02-Rally…. bud ?? All the reviews upto now are crap what other UA-cam channels have done your the man @TomleyRc
