- Mid size sedans like the Honda City and Hyundai Verna have moved up in the price ladder, and are reaching closer to the 20 lakh rupee mark. The price band they used to belong to are now being taken over by compact sedans such as the Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze , Hyundai Aura etc.
In this episode we feature the Audi A3- A competitor to the Mercedes CLA , which has now depreciated and become a great buy in the used car market, and talk about its variants, features and common issues.
This can also be an interesting option for someone who is planning to buy a premium hatchback like the Hyundai i20 / N-line or Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, or something like an Altroz, Baleno/Glanza , a compact SUV like the Nexon, Brezza, Sonet, Venue or mid versions of the Seltos, Kushaq, Taigun, Creta etc , with the A3 now being available from about Rs 12 lakh onwards - Авто та транспорт

I bought 1.8 TSI, now into fifth year. Normally I dispose off cars after four years, but I will not sell this one.i drive it myself. Excellent car for both City and highway. I only wish that the steering was a little more direct.
Weird how a car that I scoffed at when new, has suddenly become desirable to me.
A more compact, loaded alternative to a used Octavia. Not an Audi fan, but the four rings won't have the unwanted attention that the star n propellers have.

Moving forward, it would be great if you could give a rough figure on what would be the prices that we are looking at in respective to the model and year and some basic details like the expected mileage and periodic service costs.
If we do that, this video will be useless in the matter of months when prices drop. One can always check the prices of used cars online.

It's better to go for a new Skoda Octavia than a used audi a3.
A3 is an audi strictly for city commute, any longer purpose with an A3 shows that we have compromised with our commute; especially from the rear seats.

For all periodic maintenance and wear n tear parts, there shouldn't be actually anything more expensive on the Audi than a MQB Octavia/Superb/Passat as they are the same exact parts. Audi ASCs labour rates can be higher than than Skoda/VW though. It is really only the body parts that are different and possibly more expensive. Understated cars, but do no like the powertrain options it had in India.
