- Sabah Blue Unboxing WOW, the time has finally arrived my Sabah Blue project is a go, I have waited a long time for these Wonderfull spiders, we will watch and document there growth through to maturity and hopefully breeding, very exciting times ahead and I hope you can join in the journey .

@@daveslittlebeasties You may hear this a lot, I’m not certain; You really have lessened my paralyzing arachnophobia. I even let a friends’ tarantula (I can’t remember what kind it was) crawl on my hands. My friend made sure I knew what to do as to not hurt the spider but I tell you…I never thought I’d have been able to do that. Thank you for making these little creatures not seem so nightmare inducing. You’ve helped me grow stronger as a person. Seriously.

The H. maculata was amazing. He started tapping almost immediately when he sensed your female in the same room. Amazing creatures.

Amazed spiders can survive so little room for movement for days and without much air as packaging prevents it. Gorgeous little critters!

I used to have a chilly rose, curly hair, colbat blue, cameroon baboon so not good with latin. Enjoy ur vids and u handle old worlds like a pro. Nice one. :)

you have small green water bowls in your terrariums. Have you noticed if the spiders drink from it too?

Heyy!! I’m looking an I may have just passed it BUT can you do a care list/habitat needs of These beauties. I keep seeing mixed results on it!!! I have one an she can with her enclosure BUT her next molt she’ll definitely need a rehouse!

The enclosure was plenty big enough until I pair her when she will be moved to a slightly bigger enclosure 👍
You know dave if any spider sling i purchase turns out to be a male its not a problem just wont be able to keep them for as long,

I have not had any problems with the mesh with any of my spiders 👍
Hi friend. what are your thoughts behind housing the slings in such a "big" terrarium ? Will it not be more difficult to ensure proper eating ?
No these guys are very easy to feed and take there food from tweezers or dropped in front of them , but yes I normally put slings which are smaller than these in smaller enclosures, these sabahs are just big enough 👍
Spiders R Us uses waaay less packaging

What is the nicest mellowest spider like I had several years ago mostly black with a dark brown body and also where do you buy reliable spiders in the US

Out of curiosity, what mosses have you been most successful with in enclosures? I'm trying my hand at miniature orchids in with my Ts. Thank you in advance!
I find the short dense mosses tend to work best and are more hardy
Here in the US, it's referred to as "Sheet Moss" or "Carpet Moss".
