In my opinion that's one ugly mofo. Seriously, I hate the mixing of SEGA D-Pad and Nintendo styles. It doesn't work for me and the sticks suck. They look terrible. Like nipples on Batman's suit. But, hey. This is just my opinion. If you love it, then it's the best thing you have seen and I am happy for you. Even though there are millions of these things all with Nintendo style floating around the toilet bowl, I mean around the internet.
On the surface there’s a TON of options for retro emulation, yeap. But in this specific category (horizontal, screen larger than 3.5 inches, 4:3 ratio, that can run PS2 and GameCube) it’s really only this and the slightly smaller Retroid Pocket Mini. I agree this is uglier than the RPMini, but the Mini is too small for my taste. So I guess I’ll keep waiting for the handheld that’s just right!
I'm happy with my 351P. As I see it, at this point they just doing what everyone else does: keep slightly improving, adding features nobody really wants, and changing the looks. Some are ok, some are a miss.
Got the cubexx because it was cheaper. The only danger of the anbernic devices is, whenever you find a good handheld, they come out with a better one in a few months. 😅
Odin 2 Portal. SD8Gen2 processor, up to 16 gb of ram, huge batteries, awesome controls and a beautiful AMOLED screen of 7 inches. It may look expensive at first, but considered what AYN packed in this one it is like a steal.
It looks decent if a little cheap. My main gripe is that the right thumb stick is too low for me. Using this would give me a thumb cramp and stop me from playing longer than 30 minutes which I often like to do when gaming.
@@jg2722 the RG406H without question. I like the idea of the RG556, but when the same chipset comes in a package with overall better-reviewed hardware and for less cost (and in a beautiful transparent purple) the choice was clear. If I did want spend a little more on a 16:9 option, it would have to be the Retroid Pocket 5.
Cool device but needs to be a bit cheaper. At this price point it's definitely worth spending a bit more to get an RP5. 50% more expensive but the difference in quality and performance is easily worth the difference in price.
The cost is a bit lower for this, RP5 has higher specs and is a bit more compact with a wider screen and inset inline analog sticks, but all analog controls use Hall sensors for both devices. This is more budget-friendly and better suited for 4:3 games, but the RP5 is undeniably more powerful
Emulators are included, but it's recommended to download the latest versions. You should never have to pay for emulation software if you're using the right ones. Some may include optional one-time paid upgrades for additional features but they're always free at the basic level.
What do you recommend im Thinking of buying one that can take at least cp1,2,3 and wii, mame, n64, neogeo rest is a plus. About 100euro. Im so confused there are so many. Please let me know it's my birthday tomorrow, so i will spend about 100euro on a retro handheld.
the problem with a lot of these things is they include games that don't run properly. they also include lots of duplicates and games that suck and there's always awesome games they dont include.
What put me off was the price. Especially for an Ali Express device. It's over £146 just for the basic device. And, as this runs on Android, couldn't you put this "app" on your phone? I couldn't see why that wouldn't be possible. Obviously if you could find the app.
@@wizzgamerplus, the hardware is dedicated (and in my case, better than my $250 phone) so no background process to take up resources that could be used for emulation. The price is a steal.
Love the design but way too small for me PSP 4.7 inch to PS Vita 5inch form factor is perfect portable. And the screen size is just perfect not too big not too small just right and doesn't give hand cramps and fatigue!

Start of the comment made my day buddy ! 😂
Edit - This one needs to be pinned down 😂
@WickedGamerCollector I was wondering can also put the price of the systems wen u do these reviews
@romar
Sounds like a good idea in the first place, but the prices are changing all the time.

This is #1 device on my list..
I absolutely like this device, wish i had one.

RG406V still seems more pleasing to the eye. 406H just reminds me of a Nintendo switch 😅
that looks real nice, very sega looking.
I LOVE SEGA D-Pads like this
my Ally X is a beast, can play switch games with ease.
For me switch can only be played on a switch 😂
@@WickedGamerCollector haha I see what you did there. But still Ally X is a beast hehe got it for my 40th back in October this year hehe
You prefer than the lenovo legion go?
Indeed one of the better anbwrnic devices
Bro its my birthday. This one looks nice
Congratz buddy !
Wish you a wonderful day ! 💖
@WickedGamerCollector bro thanks. Been a long time sub. Retro shit is dangerous for my wallet but I love your content man. 👏🏽
Happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Got a collection now!

I either want this device or the RG406V this one looks more comfortable 🙏🏽
I am looking for a good 7 inch one. Any recommendations?

Been thinking about upgrading my RG35XX SP to a RG406H is it worth it?
The RG556 is even better and it has an oled screen
It has identical specs but arguably worse analog sticks
@ which one would you prefer ?

@ it cost less for a reason , its not as good and as comfortable , also the purple looks olay
Can you add more games to it ?
Yes you can indeed.
Sinterklaas is de baas.
Looks decent enough, but at that price you might as well get a rp4pro
ah I wish the made it in the game gear size so it would be comfirtable and you wont need a grip and it could have even a bigger battery
Can you gey rid of the touchacreen display on the ps2 games???
Ofcourse
yes, of course
8:26 How did you make the touch controls disappear?
In PPSSPP settings you can set them to auto hide after a duration, but they will reappear if the screen is touched
How does it play heavy games like Rogue leader on Gamecube, and PS2 Shadow of the Colossus?
Love the look is it a cheap buy?
160

Handhelds like this that run on android don't you have to pay for the emulators or are they all included for free and don't they have like ads?

Its such a shame really when a device like this has more full height/range sticks and many higher end/premium devices don't
👍👍™️

No physical buttons on your phone though and no cooling fan so CPU can run at full speed.

PSP = 4.3"
Bpth PSP and PSV give me hand- and armcramps like hell, can't use them without a grip.
Both*
I still like the cube xx better
It doesnt play "it all" stop lying. It doesnt llay Shadow of Collosus, and Sly Cooper. To name a few.
