Hi . I will be starting my medical college in india in the year 2023 . Will I be able to give usmle and do residency in usa ? Because I have heard people speaking about the changing wfme 2024 rule and no indian medical graduates could do their residency or practice in foreign usa ,uk,Australia is that so?pls provide a detailed answer.
Competitive residencies like ENT, Ophthal etc always require green card/ citizenship. A PD where I rotated even told me to forget about applying if I don't already have a green card. So first start working on getting one, if you want competitive residency or settle for IM, Peds,FM, Patho, neurology.
Amazing achievement indeed!!
I am also an ophthalmologist. I would like to be an IMG Research too. Can you recommend me some places where I can apply?

No ,had a friend who matched ,no citizenship
@@zshan4445 You don't need citizenship to match. Having green card alone is enough.
