clinical research is far better than basic science research. build your research CV, write a few case reports and than contact faculty from esteemed institutions in opthalmology

Is it possible and advisable to do USCE with doctors who have never hosted IMGs for USMLE? Should I only look at the traditional places/doctors where people usually do USCE. I am planning to target family medicine and internal medicine in Illinois and Michigan for 2025 match.

Vslo has temporarily suspended accepting new applications from international institutions located outside the U.S.
Temporary phase because even B1 Visa appointment date is after 2 years

Just apply and wait. Nothing can be done except us govt will try to do things now. Electives donot come in emergency Visa
