This seems quite good . But after 2 years of continuous online classes due to covid, I feel that physical classroom is way way better. I developed health issues in these 2 years which I never faced in my 12 years in school. Yeah if it's only coding, then online classes are good but not for every subject. Why can't we increase the quality of the existing universities and colleges rather than build a new one.

Education in 1 year sounds amazing but one thing to mention ... When students like us spend our 4 yrs learning engineering , we do not just learn engineering , we learn much more whether it be is public speaking or exploring our field of interest .. So spending 4 yrs also gives us the freedom to take a different direction in our life..
Nevertheless , I found the video interesting but there is still a long way when virtual education will be preferred over physically going to universities..

Wonderful work and i really think this might revolutionise the education industry cause keeping in mind the damage caused and emergence of so many online platforms after covid.
I think this is the way to go.
But on a totally different note i think People who wanna enjoy their college life like here in india going to college is like starting a whole new life, meeting new people and having that sense of freedom.
I think it might kill that but hoping for the best for Scaler and NAs daily ♥

One of the things that definitely deserves mention is their attention to each student. They have a dedicated team which keeps track and reaches out to you if you have not been attending classes or solving problems for a longer duration. They offer you a course extension or a break if you feel burnt out or can't attend classes due to personal reasons.
Oh and their placement support and pipeline is phenomenal.
Joining Scaler back in 2020 was easily one of the best decisions of my life.

In India parents are forcing children's to get educate cuz, if they won't than they won't find a suitable life partner. Unfortunately, everything in India comes to the conclusion of Marriage. "Don't study hard to earn good marks, study hard to learn" inhance knowledge and than inact it.

If this logic applies , all you then need is the most articulate, benchmarked, modularly approached, collection or collation of class room / online delivery; packaged and made available for passive viewing.
Live classes need not be repeated again and again. After all the delivery of the same subject material by the same Teacher on 03 different occassions will be qualitatively different. One could choose the best amongst them.
All that then required, maybe a window for interaction for doubts. But with multiple iterations of class, and collation of doubts a FAQ itself gets constructed.
This then reduces even further the requirement for live- interaction.
The only other live interaction required is on some Project related exposure and maybe, tips about application of acquired skills and know how. Or internship wherein one provides free labour in exchange for immersion and exposure.
While Scalability will still apply in expanding the spectrum and depth of subjects covered (BoK) ; the costs of Education and delivery greatly reduced
The current fee structure instead of ballooning should actually cyclically reduce. Unless the teaching translates as acquisition of network or bridge building with mentors (Industry captains unwilling to share their knowledge or willing to only if monetised)... A higher level Knowledge Ponzi :-/ .
There will be many 'aggregator of demand- solution provider' models that will come up. The best in class, collation of videos given time will become part of the torrent cascade. (True equitable platform of 'know how' delivery)
Or maybe the Skill India budgets could be utilised for Govt to step in and acquire BoK (collation of videos) for wider, more equitable distribution. This will be truly scaling !!
The only difference then in opportunity between the haves and have-notes (which has been traditionally - Expense) will be drive and yearning to learn etc which should ideally be the only arbiter between Ekalavya and Arjun !
'Teach India, Learn India' and don't abuse the adage to cynically 'Earn from India'. Nothing wrong if upfront about it, say: we promise you 'Silk to end with' , but 'Milk you to begin with'

I don't think most people are gifted enough to be developers and engineers. I tried python, java, c++, c sharp, sql, xml, json, php, html and css. I was half interested in coding and didn't think I was ever going to be good at it.
Did the students get jobs in coding afterwards ?
It would be cool to have other universities like this that focus on a specific career path.
