The big U notch looking metal is to cut out the frame for the filler lines to clear the frame and no be pinched off i had to use a bench vice and multiple trips to get the straps to fit right. I think the 4 small C shaped brackets are to reattach the factory bumper to the tank skid? Not one hundred percent on that though im in the middle of this tank tuck also.

That’s what I was thinking for the big U notch piece. Seems like a lot of work though so I’m probably just going to go over the frame and build a box.
You gotta notch the frame and that's what that big 3 sided bracket goes
Yeah I skipped that part lol, the unibody is weak enough without cutting into it 😂
515 dollars and affordable doesn't seem to go together 😂 Martinbuilt reused his existing skid plate and did it for much cheaper. Still job well done.
Haha yeah, before I did the tank tuck I planned on cutting the stock skid plate and doing it that way but mine was so rusted I just ordered this.
Why didnt you go Valhalla fab
More expensive and I don’t need it much longer I’m going to do a fuel cell when I put the tons under it
@@ROCKY_TV I didnt need a fuel cell I streched my tank back 6" with a 8" strech on my 1 ton
