Very useful. at 1:56 you use the word "feasting". It's a lovely poetic word, although it is a little bit old-fashioned - makes me think of banquets in Shakespeare or with historical kings, but for Georgia, which is a country with a long history, it sounds appropriate. Make sure you pronounce the "ee" sound in feasting with a long pronounced "ee", otherwise it may sound like the word "fisting". This is a very different activity. It's a messy, specialised activity for adults and you shouldn't google the word from the office,. Most tourists to Georgia will almost certainly NOT perform "fisting with locals" during their stay. Your English is excellent, but make sure your pronunciation of feasting doesn't sound like fisting.
My proctologist was kept busy for months after I went mispronouncing that word on holiday. And in fairness it wasn’t as bad an experience as I was expecting.
Wow. I've been intrigued by the grammatical and structural similarities between Klingon and Georgian (I have been learning the former for a while and am now getting to know Georgian), but now I'm convinced it actually is real life Klingon. Qapla'!
English levels among the younger generation (30 and under) are pretty good, but a few words from a visitor in the local language are always appreciated :)
I fell in love with Georgian girl who work with me... she do 't speak with me or anyone else as well... I wanna impress her by learning few phrases on her language, I hope it might work for me... her name is Tamar 😪
@@nibzlegend99it’s a very beautiful country with pretty good cuisine (to me the best but I’m Georgian lol) but I’m sure if you like Mediterranean mixed with middle eastern food you’d like it as well .. batumi gaining more and more recognition.. you know when Georgia was part of the Soviet Union which was the largest country in the world so many different climates and regions Georgia was the main tourist spot for the whole Soviet Union .. it’s sad you didn’t come hopefully one day you will. Hi Dan, the currently-used Georgian script is called "mkhedruli" and it is used only for Georgian. We are simplifying a little here, so we recommend you checking out the "Georgian scripts" wikipedia page which has a lot of useful information there. We hope that helps!
