- Subscribe above for regular Pheasantasiam videos as well as other birds in the wild from around the world. Twistee (Male Grass Parakeet, Turquoisine parrot) and Leela (Male Cockatiel) sharing peanut followed by more Cockatiels having a peanut feast.
Grass Parakeets (Turquoisine) and Cockatiels are native to Australia.

They sure do, in fact all the birds in our aviary love peanuts with the exception of the Java Sparrows. Thanks for watching.

I love chickens too! We currently have 3 Brown Shavers ( a breed used for egg production commercially in New Zealand) and 1 Light Sussex which was the neighbours, but she didn't like it there so she moved in with our girls. lol, it looks like they just shred the food instead of eating.
Parrots don't eat food, I am sure of that! All they live for is to destroy stuff.
