    Thanks Cam, the relocation videos helped me a lot. I was able to move my tank to my new apartment without losing any fish or corals. Cheers from Brazil.

    Another great video of demystifying the art of moving and relocating. I have taken so much from your knowledge and confidence to get stuck in. Thanks.

    I was willing those flipflops (think they are thongs down under) to stay on when you were going backwards down the stairs with the tank!!! :P

      Any update on the cameraman's waterbox? - or did he (Ben?) move it to another channel?

    Great job Cam. I have the exact same tank. I would have trouble relocating my tank. I cemented the base of my aquascape. I made it in three separate sections. It took my husband and I to lift it on to a board then lift the board up to the tank. My husband then was able to lift it on his own to place it into the tank. We did this 3 times then cemented the 3 together. I have some loose rock I added. If I was to ever relocate it there would be no problem cutting with a saw the cemented joins. You maybe asking why did I cement my rock in the first place. I loved my aquascape and I don't have any intentions of doing a re scape. Love watching you videos🐟🐠🦀

      Michelle Conabere thank you so much for the message. It’s not easy to get the scape just right! Worth the extra effort for sure

    Man that trailer is BANGING! Is it new? You didn't have to do the usual Cam's Puzzle Segment with the cabinet, tank, sump and barrels, it all fit nicely. :D And what a neat tank, it really is something when simplicity is well maintained.

      Lol, it’s not new but it’s very handy. I usually use it to transport natural seawater so I don’t always take it for relocations. Cam

    i thought it was best to use new sand when relocating or re-scaping a reef tank!

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  4 роки тому +1

      No, definitely not. However we should have rinsed it in old tank water before we put it in the tank at the new location. Cam

    Hi Cam, we have a relocation/tank upgrade coming up, not sure if we should cycle the new tank first or move all water sand and rock plus bio s and life bio fill maybe, what are your thoughts? Did you manage to locate the bicolour blenny that was MIA?

    I wish you guys would do a video showing how to deal with mushrooms. I have some Florida Ricordia/Yuma that are becoming a problem. I really need to learn to control them.

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  4 роки тому

      We definitely see tanks with mushrooms out of control, but it would make a pretty brutal video to show our control methods. I basically scrape them off the rocks. It’s difficult, and you normally mince the mushrooms in the process. Cam

    • @cegentry
      @cegentry 4 роки тому

      Gallery Aquatica TV well that is kinda what I did which sucks because here in the states these Yuma are worth a decent amount. I obliterated about five of them the other day.
      I would like to see how the pros do it though as I need to learn to keep them under control.
      Thought I would ask though because I know you guys deal with a lot of “morphs”. Thanks for all you do! I really like your vids.

    Do you not worry about the silicon when moving tanks ?. There are statements around that silicon works much better when the water pressure is constant. Removing water results in no stress on silicon. Is this a problem ? Cheers Piotr from Perth

      Have you ever tried pulling apart two pieces of glass that have been siliconed together? Give it a try and you’ll see how strong tanks are with or without water

    If it was me i would have drained 3/4 of the water into containers..moved the tank with everything in it.I would have used a cart to move it.I would have then added the water back in when its at the new location...thats just me though...Once my tank looks a certain way theres no way im tearing it down and going for a new look...nope...
