Dude, when you mentioned the price, I just about turned off the video. But, I watched all the way through, and you may have convinced me on this thing. I'm tired of buying block targets and getting at a maximum of 1 year out of them. I'm also tired of buying 3d targets and getting one summer out of them.
Glad you stuck it out 😂 I’ve been shooting that same center module for almost 8 months now and I’m no where near blowing through it. I’ll post a follow up once I eventually get an arrow to pop through the back. Who knows how long that’s gonna be though. 🤷♂️
I'm shooting the 3' 365 target. It's pretty nice and it was $400. The center is replaceable. They're $70 apiece and last probably 1500 arrows or so. I don't shoot broadheads at it much (I bare shaft tune and then shoot enough broadheads to confirm but I don't do reps with broadheads). It gives me a lot of forgiveness at distance which I like. This one looks a little tougher and being able to switch out every module before buying a new one is a big advantage.
The 365 is a good product too. I would have tried one, but I can’t find anyone local that sells the big ones. The 48” would be great to have for the long shots.
Mat good videos, I've watched 2 or 3 already (really liked the bend tuning of arrow shafts) great content & informative 👏. Got my subscription you tuber channels like yours are invaluable to guys like me thanks.
Purchased the big one (same one in video) years ago when they first came out. Bag targets are easy pull but don't last. Layer targets are good for about a season at best. (I don't use this target with blades, I've got crappy ones for that.) So this target will last longer than I do lol...... PS: Using the right practice tips make a difference on pulling arrows. (And don't leave it out in the sun all spring/summer.)
This is a great and durable target. I was set to buy one when I returned to the states. But once they started working with meateater, they increased the price significantly. I’m good, I’ll pass.
In India it’s just hay bales, at my club say 12- 15 bales over an annum, that’s about 1200 dollars for bales ! At home I had to make my own, a few months of work, yet still haven’t gotten the composition of the modules right, arrows aren’t that easy to pull. Honestly once my range is completely done I am getting two “Block” targets there. Rather invest once !
@@mat_in_texas yeah in the club 80% shoot low poundages. Kinda surprised that only the archery industry hasn't been re-engineered here in India . Guess that ain't too far away looking at the volume of growth.

I really appreciate that. My hope is that by sharing my experiences and what has worked for me might help a few others along the way.

Nice review!

You wouldn’t be sad. You’d be able to shoot this thing for years to come…

Hay bails are all we had as kids on the farm. They work great for low poundage bows.
