- In this Football Manager 2024 Experiment, we have England who have no variations, straight out of the packet, and they are competing in a handicap match, a 3 on 1 against the rest of the UK. Naturally the rest of the UK won't stand a chance in terms of trophy haul, so we have helped them with Youth Rating and a whopping TV Deal. Will that level the playing field?

Reputation increase for league and clubs needed for the rest of the UK to have any chance of holding onto their young players.

Due to the RNG aspect, I think a lot of these results are going to be down to how many different teams are represented. You only see maybe 3 or 4 clubs from the RoUK leagues but you see more from the English leagues than the others combined, so England will have more chances to win regardless of money. For the internationals though, the opposite is true, England only get one entry per comp but the RoUK get 3 so I would expect them to win more with reasonably equal teams.
Fair assessment, but as the leagues grow in rep they should also have more european spots as well
Northern Ireland clutched so hard internationally tho
They all pulled their weight on that front, but maybe NI took it home

Haha nice idea, across continent versus might be tricky as ivory coast would only compete for world cups in the current format
@jayhuahua this one was a joke to be fair,an actual nice idea would be Something like Serbia vs Albania since they can't seem to decide where is kosovo
So things that I think might level the playing field are as follows:
- Max facilities, recruitment and Youth Rating.
- Set reputation of all UK clubs to minimum 7500.
- Stadium capacity and attendances set to minimum 25,000.
- Manager reputation minimum 7500.
- Starting wages of £1mil and transfer budget of £30mil per club.
- £120mil per year TV deal as before.
- League reputation set to min 140 at start.

England is absolutely broken in FM. The sheer dominance in every save seems to be impossible to stop. Needs balancing in FM25.

Were only the british leagues loaded? Couple explain why england dominated Europe. Never seen it like that. Understand it wouldve taken a lot longer to load more nations in this kind of video.

Yes just the nations in question loaded. Yes maybe thats why, but in others where i use lesser nations it doesn't rack up wins on this level 🤔
Now I am very interested how much does population affect generated youth players. An interesting experiment would be 200 youth rating for China vs 200 youth rating for a similar nation in FIFA rankings with a way smaller population like Luxembourg.
Alternatively, you could edit Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to have a population of billion people (I think you can do that in the pre-game editor) and see if that would affect anything.

Evidence based football manager did an experiment on it.
Population does absolutely nothing. The only things that influence youth intake from a country (country attributes) are youth rating and country reputation. Not even game importance matters. The rest is entirely up to the individual clubs facilities, reputations, etc.
I for one welcome our new Brighton overlords... Would love to see an England vs UK where England's income is destroyed or have an embargo and an increase to the rest of UKs reputation. I feel like finances and reputation are the big factors.
It's very hard to bankrupt clubs, believe me I've tried, just doesn't ever work, the game fixes itself someone

this makes it difficult on who to root for considering I'm English and Welsh (also have ancestors from the republic of Ireland, butttt they made their choice!) lmao but this experiment is really interesting

I would like to see the countries in the experiments get perfect Heads of Youth Development at every club on top of the 200 youth rating. I wonder how much it would boost the results.
At each team? The issue is i think you can lock someone in for a max of 100 years and these experiments are 200+. Nice idea though, maybe something we can work with to kickstart things

add team mentality and borad objectives. also fun objectives. midify them such that the clubs want to be the best in the world. with all that money aswell. they will beat England in ten year
How do u add board pbjectives
@@jayhuahua add a staff in the director of football position and give him a long contract. then as part of his objectives in his career, place the objectives you want for the club and before he leaves the club the objectives will be adopted by the club if the funs expectation and objectives align with his as well.

I'd think that league and club reputation for the UK would pretty much make up the difference. They failed to keep up domestically, and that is probably because their best players wanted to play elsewhere, and no one else wanted to come into their teams.

I think that if you change only this one thing you can neuter England.
And that is turn off the English League.
Have the RUK leagues running but not England.
Then I think the rest of Europe will take away a good few of England's wins and RUK will take a few more too.
