But you try and make a half decent tactic from the start, and sim each season until you get a promotion (only using these players and regens - w/ transfer embargo)? Unsackable of course, load as far down the leagues as you can. Maybe one for FM25? 🤔

Your findings are amazing! <3 Keepers being M.o.M. in a 100-0 win is about as stupid as no training creating physical monsters. To be fair while these things are not normal, it really should not be happening. I hope they will improve. Years back, though, I remember a guy getting banned from the FM forums for pointing out that sackings occur too late when blatantly harming your own team. (At that time you could play without a GK, so he did that.) I would recommend a test to see how quickly you can get sacked, if they fixed that now 20 ish years later?

The worst bit is they probably had to play almost an extra half a game due to all the stoppages from conceding 60 odd goals a game

An idea to concede more goals is, stick this team with 19 teams of perfect players in the premier league

It looks like if there are multiple players with a rating of 10.0, the game awards man of the match to whoever is at the top of the squad list on the match report screen. Explains why Goalkeepers were given it and why Mason Mount got it as he was the first player on the list with a 10.0 rating. Does not explain what the Goalkeepers did to get a 10.0 though.

Would have loved to see how many goals the keepers let in for their careers at the end.

Would it be worth leaving say a left back on defend in the last formation, instead of a left winger? My thinking is opposition can leave players higher up the pitch without an offside worry

I reckon for Man of the Match, the code is just ordering by the rating, then ordering by position. So the keeper was always winning if they got a 10. When they didn't get a 10, the first outfield player was Mason Mount. You'd think they would have thought of this case then tried to award by some other metric, like most goals, then assists, then chance created to choose a sensible winner.

Trying to get the most yellow/red cards is always fun but has been done. You could try and get the most corners/throw ins and download the best tactics to see how many you can score from set peices. Get a team of 200cm players and players with long throw (add bullet throw as a trait) and 20 for corners etc.

Glad to see you have had a good 2024 with view, so glad I found this channel. Just an idea for streaming, maybe it is worth practicing and getting used to it before FM25 is launched so you can hit the ground running when it is released - as that would be when you get the most views etc.

I’m unsure as to why you are surprised by the results. You essentially made it so league 2 eventually becomes top league. So eventually championship would be full of ex premier league teams
