Your crewwoman is beautiful, the camera angle is awesome, I have no idea how that hat stayed on, and I am really glad you all own an 18. That looks like a high performing water craft. I hope you have continued good times together!
Memories, sailed one of these off of the Crows Nest in Santa Cruz in the 80s. Treacherous getting in and out of the breakers, but a blast getting covered in sheets of water in the bay.
Sailed on Lake Arthur in the 70's when I lived in Eastern Ohio. Beautiful lake. The motor size restriction made it a wonderful sailing and fishing lake.
Great camera angle. Do you have a picture of how exactly the camera was mounted. I know you stated that it was a strapped on suction mount, but a visual would be great.
@@jtechie3 i am sorry my english is not good , my questions is the extra seating part is diy by yourself or its the parts make by hobie fty? because i am playing the minicat in Hongkong and also looking for the extra seating parts like your hobiecat.... anyhow thanks for your reply.
Dave, Marian, and crew, you all did a fabulous job!!

Wow - that looks fun! An impressive hat retrieval by both skipper and crew at 2:33... you almost made it look like that's happened before!

So I am thinking this boat was not used much. It's got a new sail. I might just put it up for sale . It looks like too much work
