Dave, Marian, and crew, you all did a fabulous job!!
Excellent job!!!
Great documentation of your repair, thanks! BTW, did it all work out on the lake?
Thank you for sharing this ❤️ it is clear your pets are loved. Loss is so hard. They leave us too soon.
I give this video like and hope you will run ads to promote your nice channel
Just a suggestion...... I know I would enjoy more of the natural sounds of the moment..... and less music. Cheers! 🌞⛵🌴
how are u now
Your crewwoman is beautiful, the camera angle is awesome, I have no idea how that hat stayed on, and I am really glad you all own an 18. That looks like a high performing water craft. I hope you have continued good times together!
You see the big smiles? That's the way sailing is supposed to be. Not all stressed out.. RELAX, ENJOY YOUR LIFE, For soon it will all come to an end, one way or another.
This boat was found close to home , I have been wanting this boat for 14 years. I still have smaller beach cat so I can mix it up
he should probably use more control over the main sheet for less wear and tear....
I just wanted to add our experience with diabetic symptoms in cats in case anyone wants to know about them. 1. Excessive thirst. Our cat, Zoe, was drinking a lot more than normal - even though she was on a part canned food and part dried food diet. I was going through litter like crazy! She was leaving urine boulders the size of Montana instead of the pebbles she used to leave. 2. Extreme fatigue. Cats normally sleep off and on around 20 hours a day. Zoe was sleeping more than that. She lost interest in any sort of play. For example, she would watch the laser light while laying down when we tried to get her to chase it. Normally she LOVES to chase the laser light even if she's in a bad mood! Zoe was listless. She was slow to respond to our calling her even though she normally came when called. Zoe also stopped running to the kitchen when we yelled "Zoe, want treats?" It became super scary super fast (I swear... overnight after we already scheduled her to see the vet) when Zoe didn't respond to us at all, and we had to pick her up to wake her up. 3. Nausea and vomiting. This one was hard because I thought she was just regularly throwing up hairballs. She was throwing up at least twice a month. Sometimes it was as often as a couple of times a week. The vet said cats should never throw up that much, and he said throwing up hairballs is rare. Most of the time they cough and sound like they are going to throw up a hairball but then they don't. Since Zoe started insulin, she hasn't thrown up at all. She's been on insulin for 7 months now. She has, however, coughed like she was trying to get rid of a hairball and was fine - like he said. 4 Unexpected weight loss or gain. We don't weigh Zoe. I intentionally don't have a scale for myself, so I only judge Zoe's weight visibly. It's not always the fat cats that get diabetes, so don't rely on that. Zoe was well within the normal weight range (in fact, she'd lost a little bit of weight). It's a genetic problem, too, like it is in humans. 5. Age. If you see signs of excessive thirst etc. when your cat is around 10 years old, definitely get their blood sugar levels checked by a vet. Age is a factor - however, not always. Again, it can be genetics, like with humans. And, I've heard that inbreeding in cats (and dogs) can lead to all kinds of health problems including diabetes. So, the biggest early indicators we had for diabetes were excessive thirst and fatigue. If you're suddenly going through a ton of litter, get your cat checked. It will cost a lot less, over time, than constantly replacing the litter! 😺
It looks like Shiloh has cataracts, too. Poor baby! It totally sucks that our prescious little fur babies get old long before we do. And feathered babies, too, in my case. My 11 YO Zoe was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year. We're still trying to figure out how to get her stabilized on insulin. I have no problem giving her shots although she is sometimes resistant (who can blame her?). Zoe has shown symptoms of joint pain, I think. She has had more difficulty jumping up onto furniture etc. How do I distinguish between that and possibly the beginnings of diabetic neuropathy?😢

Awwe she cute
Memories, sailed one of these off of the Crows Nest in Santa Cruz in the 80s. Treacherous getting in and out of the breakers, but a blast getting covered in sheets of water in the bay.
Wow good times with a great video. Mom
That face. What a cutie!
I still miss this guy he was the best cat ever! I will never have another one like him we have 3 cats now we have lost all 4 that were alive when this one was alive this was 5 years ago
At the end I thought he was twirling the pole like a gunslinger with his revolver but I guess he must have been wrapping some rope around it... still it made me smile!
Hahah just happened to watch that .. very nice .. nice vessel family and doggo
Bullshit. This cat is wastes as f*ck! Ease off on the liquor, buddy. Hope it didn't drive home last night.
18 milhas HR , bah Tchê !!! 😁🙏😱
So my boy is like this, and I've tried everything. Hopefully it's not too late. Read one of the comments that said if you catch it early, it can be treated... and I had no idea. The first time I took him to the vet, they said he had arthritis (took xrays) and the second time when he was getting worse, the vet said it could be cause by trauma or he could possibly have a tumor in his spine that's causing the neuropathy... &they said if it's a tumor, he will eventually loose all function in his back end and will have to be put to sleep. This video gives me a bit more hope! Do you think there's a chance I could get him better if not 100%?? I'm going to take him to the vet again to get blood work done to see if he's diabetic, and if so, start him on meds. Idk what to do, and I'm just REALLY desperate at this point. I'm really hoping it's not too late. PLEASE HELP!! 😭 💔
Your FAITH will move Mountains! God Bless!
Hey, how did everything go? This was months ago, but I did want to say to always get a second opinion. And a third if needed. Obviously, that's only if you can afford it. Other symptoms of diabetes (for anyone else reading this) are: excessive thirst, unexpected weight loss or weight gain even if eating normally; and extreme fatigue. Excessive thirst is noticable when you're cleaning the litter box. You will be scooping out boulders the size of Montana instead of the pebbles of urine that you were used to scooping. Cat's sleep off and on around 20 hours a day. Extreme fatigue means they are sleeping even more than that! They have lost interest in participating in any kind of activity. Our cat, for example, would watch the laser light while laying down when we tried to get her to chase it, and she LOVES to chase the laser light. They are listless. They are slow to respond to your calling their name. Our cat, who knows the word "treats" and usually comes running to the kitchen if we say "Zoe, want treats?" would ignore us and stay in her bed. It became super scary super fast (I swear... overnight after we already scheduled her to see the vet) when they don't respond to you at all and you have to pick them up to wake them up. As for weight, it's not always the fat cats that get diabetes, so don't rely on that. Our cat was well within the normal weight range (in fact, she'd lost a little bit of weight). It's a genetic problem, too, like it is in humans. Apparently, it's not always an age related problem, either. So the biggest early indicators we had for diabetes were the excessive thirst and fatigue.
What a cute little guy
Yeap I miss that dude!
well done - Does anybody know where I can get a mast yoke or drawing for it ?
All of these cats have passes away 🤣 so sad
beautiful cat, it is heartbreaking to see them so sick. I am so sorry you lost this special little man
If he can simply take care of his pet like this at this stage humans should treat elders in nursing homes better
You should try giving it a few droppers of nettle tea a day or 1/4 a cup in it water bowl. You just boil teabag, then steep for two hrs. It's very good for diabetic kitties, Dr Jones said. His was able to stop using insulin eventually.
His cat passed away shortly after making this video.
i might always be a lake sailor
*Yes! We are really happy with my **Bestt.Digital** projector. It is definitely recommended for those who are looking for something very good but affordable.*
Great camera angle. Do you have a picture of how exactly the camera was mounted. I know you stated that it was a strapped on suction mount, but a visual would be great.
I heard that boron supplements help regulate blood sugar levels. It's a trace mineral.
Thanks for including the tacs
Hi ! I have the exact same projector and i want to watch 3d bluray movies from my 3d bluray player . Do i need a special screen or the wall will do just fine ? . Please help me so i can watch my 3d collection . Thanks a lot !
It's all in how your wall is, is it smooth is it lumpy , I have one because some one gave me a screen. I don't know if it helps or not. They do make special paint which I am thinking on doing
My cat Devon was wobbling about and he could not jump properly it was cancer u know wen it’s the end because u can not watch them suffer no more and it’s time that’s wen I made the decision to put him to sleep because he looked so poorly I didn’t want him to suffer no more but now I am lost without him I loved him so much it’s been a month now and I am so sad I love him forever
Yes once you have a pet that knows you, and they know you are a good person the relationship end up to be a very huge whole once the per is gone. I miss my cat everyday. So sad sorry for your loss
So I am thinking this boat was not used much. It's got a new sail. I might just put it up for sale . It looks like too much work
Are you a sailor in a sunny place all year round ?
I just bought a 18 ft and I don't know anything about Sailboats
Where do you live ? Where are u going to sail at?
Most of diabetes comes from dry food.
What a beauty !
My cat has started to wobble just yesterday and I am so scared because I’m so worried for it. Watching this has given me comfort and I have a feeling of gratitude which I can’t explain. Rest In Peace Shiloh it you were at pet to us all in a way.
How is your baby doing now? My fur baby was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year. It's been quite a learning experience....even after having diabetes for many years myself! Is your cat on insulin? Mine is on Novolin. She's still not quite stabilized with it yet (sigh).
Nice video! I'm from just down the road in Greenville pa, I didn't expect to find videos of anyone sailing any Farrier designed boats on a local lake lol I'm new to sailing but in a few years when I get my own boat it will be an Fboat or Corsair if I have my way...they are just such awesome machines.
Yeap they are awesome machines! I have ben wanting one of these boats now for 14 years. I have been looking for them and when one popped up I had to show the wife. I got lucky that my wife loves this design of sailing! Plus its tailorable and we don't have a lot of time because we have to work, I don't have time off but now we have this thing so we can take it anywhere! This year we had to learn how to rig it and put it on the trailer and all that stuff so this local lake is perfect for that!
Your sail say's "F31" ... Is she a F27 or F31 ?
Nope you are reading it wrong, it is the 31st boat made so it is Hull #31 the boat make is a 1988 F27, thanks for watching
Wish I had one. Ah well, that's what Lotto's about.
It is nice and perfect sound
Just saw this video. I think that it's a creative little piece of work that you put together. It's a shame that you didn't have more air that day for faster sailing on your F-27.
Thanks yea we need some wind, this was the day you were gonna video lol
Love it.
Sailed on Lake Arthur in the 70's when I lived in Eastern Ohio. Beautiful lake. The motor size restriction made it a wonderful sailing and fishing lake.
It’s still the same you shoo-ins come back. We have 20 catamarans sailors that play every weekend in the summer of course
Don’t forget Moraine Sailing Club. Sunfish, flying scot, cats. Lessons food instruction.
Flatten the eq and set your crossover to the hpf and then 250hz and adjust your gain to about 1/2. turn the volume up as loud as you want to play on the head unit and then back the crossover down from 250hz slowly until you hear it starting to distort, turn the crossover up until you don't hear the distortion.
Thanks I will try this too, and I am in contact with Rockville they are telling me what to try also.
