He really does ! Literally does not miss a thing ! Even down to the simple things like when x’s things off he will tell you how to get them back on. Or the keys he presses. Literally doesn’t miss a single teaching point !
I've been using DAWs for about 20 years, and in all that time, this is the most complete tutorial of how to just get a bet up and running. Excellent tutorial!
This is it, THIS is THE tutorial, he explained absolutely everything and I learned tons with it. This is how you should make a tutorial, THANK YOU also his voice was super relaxing, i know it does not influence the quality of the content but to me it was a huge plus
yes he is really great and his slow methodical way of explaining along with his mellow and relaxed voice makes for a great learning experience for myself
Sometimes you find a tutorial that is exactly what your productions need, exactly when you finally know enough to appreciate, understand and implement. Many thanks!
This is without a doubt the best tutorial video on UA-cam. The explanation as to what commands you are pressing and when is very much appreciated. Your calm voice is perfect for teaching. I am so happy I came across your channel. Like and Subscribed. Going to watch all your stuff.
By far the best Ableton tutorial on UA-cam. For an absolute beginner this guy absolutely nails it, especially explaining what keys he's hitting before each action. Amazing 👏
This is one of the best tutorials I've found so far. Very clear and concise. I definitely learned a lot in a short time while going through this process. Thank you!
The tutorials on this page are just amazing man ! This guy doesn’t miss a single teaching point! There is nothing he will do on this video without telling you how, why or what it is doing. Brilliant stuff
I've been using Logic since 2006. After watching this i'm now 99% convinced that Ableton Live is better for what I want to do musically. Brilliant video. Thank you sir.
I just recently bought Ableton and these videos have been extremely helpful to learn a new DAW. The way certain actions are done in different ways to make us achieve the same result really helps to make us familiar with hotkeys, features, interface etc. It's an excellent way to teach. Thank you!
Finally a tutorial I was able to follow and managed to compete.. I've tried other tutorials but they move to fast. This was great and I learnt so much.. also too thought needed a diva vocal. My fiancé is a singer so we will try
Thank you for taking the time to explain everything as you go. Your pace is perfect for beginners. I finally found my new Ableton instructor. Subscribed. 💯👍
Thank you. Just moved to Live 12 after more than a decade with Studio One and loving i!! This tutorial really stands (out as noted often below) Again, thank you! To you or anyone else knowledgeable, it seems Operator is not part of 12 Standard Anything close in the Live Standard instrument set? I have lots (too many) VSTs, but trying to do everything in Live for 6 months to learn a little about the platform. Thanks a ton!
Definitely got me more confident with going on to make my own music instead of just promoting others! Also like how I don’t use a midi keyboard as I ain’t got one yet
You my friend are awesome... . 15 years ive tried to learn this software on and off it always ended up pissing me off and giving up on it and i think you made it much much easier for me to give it a chance.
This is a great tutorial! Just got Ableton yesterday and was able to follow this tutorial to complete my first house track from start to finish. Thank you!
I've never seen sidechain compression done this way. Typically see a compressor added to the bass track and "Audio From" using a ghost track. Still new and learning but was curious about this.
I've always had a tough time fully understanding the whole side chaining thing. Now that I have learned it from this video. I feel like I've just been doing it wrong ahaha 😅😅 Awesome video, great instructor!

Great lesson, I dont think I've sat from start to finish through a tutorial that does such a great job of explaining the "why" of specific parts.
Hey, BRO! Considering that I'm from Russia, and I don't understand English at all, your lessons are the best explanation on UA-cam.
This is one of the best Ableton tutorials I have seen. I love it!! :)
Quality tutorial, simply inspirational, pitched at a level I found easy to follow. 10/10... Many Thanks.
