I've always been under the belief people who struggle the most with things like addiction and are homeless are people who we're more aware and spiritually open, and thus took more damage from living in society until it broke them.

Not everyone is an empath. But there are a lot more highly sensitive people (HSP) in the world than we realize. I have never met a person battling with mental and emotional illness that wasn’t highly sensitive. Highly sensitive people are easily overwhelmed by energy and often don’t get the help needed. It’s a difficult life.

One thing I'm seeing clearer with age is that everyone is a little bit "off." It's become so obvious to me. Celebrities especially. How can you live thru this historical era and not be a bit touched??
It's about acceptance, balance and making it all work in your favor.
For so long I thought my empathy was a weakness. I understand now it's my superpower. My empathy was developed in a world of aggression, dysfunction and apathy so I was othered early in life. It's been a beautiful journey getting to the other side of this thing ❤I wish this feeling on everyone, truly
I’ve been saying this. We call them crazy because we can’t see things because we are brainwashed.
As a highly sensitive person who was homeless, worked in the adult entertainment field (dancer) and previous heroin and crack addict, even throughout my addictions i never stole from anyone. I worked seven days a week and had my best friend and bf at the time living w me rent free , both not working and both addicts, supporting their addictions as well. $500/ day habit.
Even through the darkest , most ugly and abusive part ofmy life and i was still helping people.
It is indeed a cold world.
This is me, I definitely feel all the underlying problems around me this is why I rather not be around too many people experiencing dense emotions.
The fact I feel what others are going through is consuming me that is why I cut myself from almost all the physical or what we call real life. I go for weeks without getting in contact with people, it is probably not the right way of doing things but at least it makes me feel less emotional. Living in an environment where people easily lose their life is a huge challenge
agree! i am going through the same.. it takes time but the overwhelm will settle ❤ find your purpose and use your gifts for good 😇 I totally own my outcast status! 😂😂 i am always reminding myself.. "forgive them Lord, for they know not what they are doing"

I’m most definitely an empath and as a generational curse breaker myself you have said everything correctly I feel everything but I’ve been learning how to transmute. I’m always able to put myself other people shoes. It’s a gift and curse, but I learned how to use that ability for the better of my life and the world around me.

I am a HSP (highly sensitive person), neurodivergent and disgnosed with mental health issues, but i wm also a gneretionalc curse breaker and one of the first in my bloodline in this generation to reawakening my psychic gifts. I am scapegoated as the crazy one..
Yet the only one to really work on myself...YEARS of healing and clearing.

Wow im actually the black sheep of my family and I suffered with social anxiety but now I learnt that my body , mind and soul was sensitive to energy I actually was absorbing the energy from other I never never that was my super power I recently discovered I'm highly clearsentence and I can channel and connect with other people energy n emotions!
