@@MisguidingWishin ur opinion, I prefer Sumeru’s music. It took a while for me to get used to them and once I did its so unique and so refreshing bec I didn’t consume or hear those type of instruments much. (Not saying Inazuma is mid, its great, same with Fontaine.)
Those transitions from setting to setting, hot damn. Fontaine definitely got the most refined and elegant tracks so far. Hard to decide which I like more over Fontaine's elegance or Sumeru's culture.
People like categorising things in strict binaries, forgetting that cultural exchange is a thing that happens when peopld travel and trade with each other. Fontaine is very reminscent of southern France and Spainish regions; warmer parts of Europe that's near north Africa (notice how Genshin introduced Fontaine as being north of a desert region of Sumeru. So we essentially hopped off a cliff in Tangier Morocco, and landed somewhere in Southern Spain). Mondstandt is Germanic Europe, but it also includes the UK and Switzerland in its regional references i.e cooler regions of Europe. As we move further northeast, we will end up in Greater Russia.
Did not expect the Flamenco dance when I first saw this. Incredibly captivating. I’m sure the music moving forward will be in good hands despite our music archon Yu-Peng Chen leaving. Wishing all the best!

I really love the influences combined here: the 40s, American, French, and Spanish vibes in this specific track. Second half reminded me of Character Demo themes, also this also gives off a Randy Newman trumpet vibe Looking forward to the rest of the album

Like Jo Hisaishi, Nobuo Uematsu (and a lot of Japanese composers) and also to classic Hollywood film composers like Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Brian Tyler, to Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla and many great classical/flamenco guitarists like Paco de Lucia, Paco Pena, Al di Meola, Vincente Amigo, Ramon Montoya, Sabicas, Manolo Sanlúcar, Gerardo Núñez etc.
You guys overdid it, again. This is by far the most unique orchestral music video I ever saw. We had dancing musicians before, Lindsey Stirling, Vanessa Mae, Diana Bolcheva, to name a few. But this is the first time I see an orchestra spread around a city, playing in a boat rowing down the river. This is suberb work, congratulations everyone. Hope you add some of these songs to our litle teapot!
Update: I've been to "Cuevas del Drach" (Dragon's Caves) in Palma de Mallorca and they had such presentation live! Musicians came playing classical music in small boats in the cave's lakes in the dark, and they even had a piano on boat. As I remember this video I couldn't help but drop a few tears of joy :)

Everytime I enter a new nation in Genshin I always look for that one battle theme that catches my ears. This is my favorite of the Fontaine battle themes. So artistic and upbeat.
i love the trumpets whoever played it was pretty talented cos im pretty sure to make that sound effect, it gotta take a lot of practice. it also adds a lot to the atmosphere hoyo-mix probably wanted to show. not only that, but i love how they added elements of different cinematic scenes 😂 oboe and clarinets get their little moment too and i love that as a clarinet player 🥹

Honestly, this battle theme in particular has an incredibly silly vibe. I love it. It's more than perfect when battling in domains or against the local legends/supermobs around the map. Just these incredibly tanky and dangerous silly creatures wiping your whole team if you don't know how to deal with them, it's incredible music.
I love how fun it gets at this point of the song. 2:10 The way it builds up and the different instruments taking the spotlight. It’s like fighting along side friends, it’s always makes the battles feel so intriguing.

It's VERY Final Fantasy, especially around the 8-9 era, which is a wonderful compliment. Nobuo Uematsu is an all-time great, so being reminiscent of that is the highest honor! Well done Hoyo!
this sounds like a proper JRPG fight where your team got buffed from the god of the plot and now you are fighting the final boss with all damage becomes holy element.
2:47 i’m thinking the flemanco dancer represents the knave this is a long shot but the scenery reminds me of the court room and arlecchnos overall design is that similar to a flemanco dancer her shoes her pants her sleeves and her color scheme. in the end i could possibly be wrong but i’ll wait for the day we get a cutscene of flamenco dancing maybe in natlan?or maybe in upcoming updates getting to know fontaine more and it’s cultures

For real! Fontaine's music, and especially its battle themes, are my favorites by FAR.
It still does to me, bcz I rather enjoy the calm music.
By far the best tracks they've created are from Inazuma and nothing can surpass them for now.
Maybe natlan or snezhnaya will bring some good ones
