Dear Kayla. Great review. I have just finished this book and I also like it very much. A lot of twists there and I was also surprised with character development of Jaime, Brienne, Daenerys, Jon, Samwell and others. It was interesting to see that House of Lannister was winning a war and at the same time loosing battles inside King's Landing. I'm very sorry for Oberyn Martell. Things are never as the seem to be. Petyr Baelish is special enigmatic character and he is really top conspirator. For me it was stupid that wildlings army fell apart so quickly. I also think that Stannis story is unnecessary because everyone can see that his reign will not last for very long. Maybe GRR Martin devoted to much space to some less important charachers but it's ok. Should I take some pause b4 reading Feast or Crows or should I read instantly? Greetings from Croatia...
Greetings! I would say to read it right away. I myself took a break and wish o hadn’t because perhaps I would’ve enjoyed it more. It is still good, but my least favorite to be sure. Stannis will have some more interesting involvement but I can appreciate the addition of characters that may not know a flashy end. This was a fantastic book though and tends to rank at the top for me within the series due to the sheer volume of story and development!
@@kaylachristenson9664 I've been looking for something like your summary. Others are long and unnecessary. I just want a summary of the book I just read so I can go on with the next one with the cliff notes fresh in my head! So, again thank you for the effort.
thank you for this video! i want to continue my reading of this series but book 3 was very hard for me to get through and needing a refresher i did not want to read it again just yet lol
Great review! I'm currently reading a Feast for Crows, but why does no one talk about that epilogue tho!! I mean, is Catelyn raised from the dead or what?!? I couldn't stop pacing around the house when I finished a Storm of Swords 😅
Any antagonist is "the worst"😂 thank you for this video, a song of ice and fire is so hard to summarize because of how much happens that isnt a plot point i get confused
@@francissemazzi1530 ohhhh I generally really like a Clash of Kings and a Storm of Swords but there was a lot to enjoy in Dance with Dragons as well. It's frustrating because there was so much set up in DWD so it really makes you want to read the next one! I just love how things really pick up in Storm of Swords though.
@@kaylachristenson9664 My favorite character is Arya and Tyrion. Arya is like a super hero bad ass. And Tyrion is a thinker. He really is the giant of Lannister. Lol
Just finished this book and after "The Red Wedding" the book picked up so much and damn that last chapter!
It does! So difficult to read the red wedding part though 😞

@@kaylachristenson9664 Dear Kayla, thx for your advices. Yes, I see the point and agree with you. :)
thanks for the great summary! now I’m ready for A Feast For Crows :D
This is the book where i became a closet Jaime fan. AFOC is where I went flamboyant.

thanks! this is exactly what I was looking for. A good summary with an insightful perspective.
Thank you! I remember working really hard to make sure these summaries were good so I appreciate that :)
