MaGMML3 - 34th Place - Pumpkin Patches Normal Run in

Happy Halloween!
This is one of the longer stages in the contest. Thankfully, the first half is EXTREMELY bikeable. It's fairly same-y and definitely requires intense memorization, but it's also very fun.
There's a pretty nice Track Shoes zip, and also a rare vertical cable onto a wall. You don't get to see those much but for climbing the screen past the checkpoint it's pretty nice. The gist is that you throw a cable up, then move right to have it latch onto a wall and pull you straight up onto it. It's not as cool as the horizontal floor cable because that can immediately be chained into a slide, while here, you still need Track Shoes to scale the wall and move on. And usually a Coil Tornado or similar is better for climbing. But here I felt like using this.
Then you go inside the castle. Changkeylier takes 7 damage from both Water Shield and Propeller Vortex and I imagine they're similarly effective, but it likes to jump a lot so I prefer Vortex. Also, Tornado Blow does 4 damage, so I open with one for a double hit for 8 to skip one hit.
Then comes another very taxing part. The climb.
I fumble here and there, it's hard to find a definitive route through these screens and judge what jumps you can make towards other platforms from Magnet Beams somewhere in between. And the Lantern Joes have chasing projectiles that often get in the way. I decided to use a bunch of Magnet Beam for the first screen, then Tornado Blow for the second. You actually barely need extended jumps for the second, but it's still good for clearing away the enemies. Except the Changkey Makers.
Finally, there's Lantern Man.
Uh, he's not much of a fight in this category. Water Shield deals damage so immensely quickly he never gets to set foot between his phase transitions and he never attacks. It's possible to easily No Damage him, except that you need to stand inside him for the Element.
This run beats the previous fastest time of 2:33.550 by Juaroomblah by about 7 seconds.
