How are you, always watching your videos. Recently my notification don't show up on my phone, only until I open the Blink App and 25 maybe more notifications fall at once.. It started in the beginning of March 2024 and now I have to open the app, but a bunch of captures show at once. Is there something that Blink team did or anything. I have not touched anything on settings.. Thank you in advance

Since the latest update, I am not getting Notifications to my iPad…from my home or my church (important, since it is in a pretty secluded area). I am - mostly - still getting Notifications to my IPhone, but the tone has changed and sometimes I don’t hear it. Frustrating! Is Amazon/Blink working on these glitches??
You are not the first person to report this issue. There is definitely a compatability concern with the iPad. But try this fix: IOS: Navigate to Settings → Notifications → Blink → and ensure Allow Notifications is enabled
@@TeachMe101 I received notification that Blink won't continue to support older devices, like Android 8 or older. My mom uses an old android to check videos and it's not working properly. I use a fire tablet with android 7.3 and it doesn't work properly anymore. The only way I can check her cameras is to sign out of my account on my phone and sign in to her account. I can only be signed in and receive notifications for one account at a time. And I also don't get notifications on the fire tablet anymore until I open the app. Still can't see clips, either. Blink had a good system, easy for my elderly mother to learn and now they've messed up the whole thing.

Go to clips folder 1 - Press the "edit" button. 2 - Press "select all" button. 3 - Then press "marked viewed" or "delete". 4 - Then scroll up your clips until you see the next "notification DOT". 5 - Repeat steps 1-5 until all the hidden clips have been either viewed or deleted. * Note you may have to restart the app a few times to see the notification count go down.
Great question. Yes you can watch live. No Blink won't record without a subscription. But... you could use a screen record app instead. The drawback is, it will only record when you record it.
PLEASE HELP!!! I am really frustrated with this update. Several annoyances!! I'm hoping you can tell me how to fix this one thing that is upsetting me more than anything else... It used to be that when you were watching a video and hit the download button that there would be a notification that popped up to let you know that it IS, in fact, being downloaded. This is very helpful because many times even though I hit the download button, nothing happens, for whatever reason, maybe my finger didn't hit it right or it just didn't register or whatever. But ever since the update, there is absolutely no notification whatsoever, absolutely nothing to tell you that your clip IS in fact being downloaded. Which leads me to the second annoyance... It used to be that if I left the blink app to do something different on my phone, without closing out the app, I would always come back to the same place that I left off. But now, if I leave to do something else, even while keeping the app open, every time I come back it refreshes and brings me back to the beginning. Here is why these two annoyances are especially affecting me... My main purpose in using the whole blink system is to film The Wildlife around my yard. I am preparing to start a UA-cam channel based on all of the wildlife action that happens in my yard. Therfore, I am always spending time going through my videos and downloading the ones that I want to keep. This is always quite a lot of videos. I need to be able to go down my videos, hitting the download button over and over again and I need to be reassured that they ARE in fact downloading, but now there is no way to know!!!!! NO NOTIFICATION!! WHY??????!!! I often switch over to my gallery just to check to make sure that all of the videos are in fact downloading but sometimes I am very behind in doing this and downloading videos that are still from 3 days ago. But now every time I come back to the app, it brings me back to the top and and I have to sit there and scroll forever to get back to the day I left off on. I have 16 blink cameras !!!!!! TONS of videos to go through!! I don't understand what the point would be to change these 2 things! There are other annoyances, such as the fact that each clip does not have the "day" on it anymore, which really helped me to know where I was before. Now, the only place that the day is listed is at the top of that days clips. These changes have made it almost impossible for me to do what I'm doing. And I tested just to make sure... I went down my videos and hit 32 videos in a row that I wanted to download... I then went to check in my gallery and only 29 of them had actually downloaded!!! This is extremely frustrating!!! I can't go back and check to see if each video has downloaded after I have pressed the download button. That would be insane and impossible especially with the fact that it refreshes every time i go off the page. Please help me😭😭😭
Wow! I'm so sorry to hear about your problem. That sounds extremely frustrating. I think there maybe a fix. Try using the share button instead of the download button. It's on the left side of the download button. Then you can share it to an external drive like Google Doc, Dropbox, One Drive, or even email it to yourself. This may allow for an even better storage system. I'll also try to record another video on this topic.

And I'll need to do like 30 videos in a row, each one seperately and then can't even come back to where I left off 😒 Why did they make these pointless changes 😩 And it would be different if the download button had haptic feedback, but it doesn't. If it did I would at least know that it worked. And while I'm at it, here is another problem after the update that is extremely annoying... No longer can you press and hold down Clips to select. I used to delete several Clips at once, not wanting to "delete all", but only delete select videos. All I had to do was press and hold down just one video and then I could go and select whichever ones I wanted to delete. Now, nothing happens when you press and hold down the clips!

I am having the same problem I get notified but can't get the clip. I am very mad because I have this for security. Never had a problem til new app. Have tried what the video said doesn't fix the problem??
@@what1864 You may have to uninstall the app then reinstall it. As long as you can sign into your account you "shouldn't need" to go through the entire setup process again.
This is literally the worst piece of worthless crrp I have ever bought. Probably the most obvious thing that shows that the developers never even tested their device in real world usage, is nowhere on it is written the words "doorbell"... nobody knows it's a doorbell... and the screws included to install it... literally a 2 cent item... aren't self tapping, meaning you're more likely to stab the screwdriver through your fingers trying to install it than actually ever get it installed. It does not have the range to be installed out by your driveway gate. More often than not, you're going to be recording tons of useless footage of yourself, and nobody else. As soon as you see thier plan break down you realize, yeah, you got bamboozled, this thing is grrbage. Just get a regular dwmb doorbell, you'll be much happier with a doorbell that works forever like a doorbell should.
I wanna know why it shows I have nine videos that I haven’t watched and I’ve watched them all and it still shows. I have nine videos. I’ve deleted those videos. There’s no red dots on anything. I’ve washed them all. Why doesn’t it go away?

I can't view any cips. Just have a black screen with an X in top right corner. I've changed filter settings several times and it's not working. There's over 100 new clips and I can't view any of them to manage & delete.
Update: It's been a week and still not working like before. I have learned that I can view new videos through the notifications posts only. Inconvenient, but at least I can see them as long as I don't accidentally tap "clear all" notifications.
They told me it's a .known issue their working on I do have a subscription and have it set to erase every sixty days now missing everything except last two weeks
I've used Blink for several years without any problems. It was, in the beginning, easy enough to use that my tech-challenged, elderly (75+) mother was able to navigate the app. The recent updates have really messed it up! We're both fed up with trying to get it to work. Makes me think Blink is trying to shut out "storage included free, no subscription needed" users.

Thanks so much! Yes you can upgrade at anytime. That's what I did. I started with one camera then added more. Make the subscription plan work for you.

My sync box (and a new one just don’t work) I’ve tried everything and they just won’t record anymore.
My question is: can I see live video on my phone without a subscription but record it on my thumb drive?
Great question. Yes you can watch live. No Blink won't record without a subscription. But... you could use a screen record app instead. The drawback is, it will only record when you record it.

i don't know what blink did but they have screwed my system up , i tried your fix and so far unfortanately it hasn't fixed the problem ..

Make sure your sync module is online and that your device is connected to the wifi.

I just want my blink doorbell to stop notifying me of every car that drives by. Doesn't matter how I setup the motion detection.

I. Just subscribed to blink plus and. It will not let me activate the account. Plus. My cr3dit card does not get charged after I subscribe
Mine won’t even let me connect the sync module to a new router 😂 currently without cameras 😂
Make sure the sync module is connected to the 2ghz not the 5ghz.

I do believe you are correct. They are slowly trying to move everyone to a subscription plan. Sad but true.
