Hey bro! Just got my 15' WRX and new to manual, so I'm watching all the vids lmao. Really like your style of vids and your Subie. Instant subscribed. I'm not really a car guy so I was just wondering what you would suggest for first couple of mods! I know its all dependent on what I personally like, but I respect your decisions for yours and just wanted to know if you could throw ideas and where to get em! Thanks in advanced brother
joshua desisso congrats!!! You gonna love it.
1. Short throw shifter - short stop mount. This Is one of best mods m for quicker and easier shifts which makes you faster and more fun
2. AOS - second mod get an AOS, IAG makes a really good one. This is key to reliability
3. Take your time and practice learning how to drive a manual before upgrading power. It’s good to learn and walk before you run and get used to clutch and things first :)

After watching that I am very excited for my build. I have finally installed the AOS and the Mishimoto TMIC and Charge pipe. I am installing the J-Pipe and downpipe here also plus the short throw soon. I so can't wait

@@ChristianHudnell I feel it the throw is very sloppy. I think I only have 3 or 4 parts left; pitch stop, gsebc, tgv & egr delets. Then I am set

From stock to this end, what would you say the price was for the build?
I definitely plan to go WRX after seeing your vids. I can’t afford nearly what you’ve spent though. What would be the main parts to put on that would get me the most power/performance boost? And how much would you estimate it cost wise? Thanks!
Hey! Best performance on these are to get an E85 kit and fuel setup. $2000 and can get almost 350 WHP

Quick question for you. With your carbon hood, do you experience any rattling at higher speeds? Was (without shame) going ~120mph on the highway yesterday and mine rattled like no tomorrow. Almost like it was bending ever so slightly.

Such a sweet ride! Do you know how to remove the front and rear Subaru Emblems? I tried heating them up but I don't have anything thing enough to get underneath the emblem to pry it off.
BrianD0313 thank you so much! Yeah I did that to mine and kind of prued it off gently. Only thing is removing them SUBARU has like a hole and cave in where emblems would be and not a flat surface. You trying to switch out emblems or just remove all together?

BrianD0313 I feel you! You can switch out or buy overlays that are like vinyl and you attach over them. That’s what I did for mine

Hey! hmmm so many to choose from for sure, thats why these cars are awesome cause they can be built in so many different ways. I love the wings I have and setup and anyone who wants the same I say go for it
I know they come with the rear lip already which can be tough, ive seen people go ducktail or sti wing with lip or trunk swaps
Where these mods install in the order you got them? I’m getting a wrx and tryna do as much research as I can cuz this stuff can be very overwhelming

I just put together my cost to hit about 350whp from a stock 17 wrx
1100 exhaust
900 intake/accessport
725 J pipe
1500 fmic
470 aos
280 bov
115 boost controller
1600 labor/ tune
1275 labor pump tune update
640 flex fuel
700 30k inspection
Hmmm not quite but it isnt cheap for sure haha. These cars cost a bit but are so fun to drive
What’s your opinion on an automatic WRX? I can drive a manual, but for a daily driver with bad ankles, not too sure a manual is a good idea
I would say its worth it. I have bad knees but most of time on highway you aren't shifting much. If phycially you can't have a manual I would suggest other automatic cars honestly. The WRX autos aren't always the best

How much was the performance part of this build? I’m looking into getting an Sti and im new to this whole scene. I’ve been building ls cars and American muscle so this is another world. Looking great tho.

The sketch that ive seen looks pretty good other then the back end. the back kind of looks like a civic to me. hey man big question, i was gonna buy a ets front mount intercooler with a hks blow off valve, and I was to know if I have to tune the car after install or can I just hit the street right after installing ?
Hey bro! Yeah you need a tune for those mods. You will want a tune for sure especially with a BOV. Helps car more and run better

Real question, how are you getting away with all these mods in Cali? With cops and smog/emissions test. Moving to Cali soon and I’m scared because of the mods I have 😅
Is running something like a Cobb jpipe with PERRIN Equal Length Header together problematic at all?
godking331 no not at all. Just go to a good tuner that knows his stuff and dyno tune :)

The parts need to be for each individual car. For example, Cobb has an intake for both the WRX and STI but you would need to by the model specific one for the STI or the WRX. Company makes it for both but most parts in engine dont carry over

Depends on where you live each place is different. I would look for smog regulations, car street legal information, etc
