Excited for you to get the Radium fuel basket and the dual pumps installed. I have a very similar build but with a rotated Precision 5558 gen 2 bb turbo and made 491awhp (dynojet) with ID1300 injectors and a single AEM 340 fuel pump. After upgrading to the Radium fuel hanger with dual AEM pumps and ID1700 injectors, she made 540 awhp and 520 wtq. What I really like is the torque is up 100 ft lbs at 4K rpms. Tuned by JR on e71.

Great content! When I did the aem 340 fuel pump install I just used the oem “hat” piece from the stock pump instead of provided the o rings. Hopefully no issues 🙏

I love my STI but 50k for 500 hp is awful. For 50k in parts alone you can do so much more with LS3 or 2JZ
That’s 50k with the car. If you know anything about fab work, it would cost way more to swap an STI with a 2J or LS3. Subaru’s aren’t cheap to modify.
@@CarsWithJR That makes more sense with the car included. I also meant buying a C6 vette and putting a supercharger on.
@@CarsWithJR 50k isn’t really that bad. I’ve got the same amount of power and I’m into mine for a little over 60k. My heads got damage during my crank bearing failure so I ended up buying a built longblock. Subaru’s are definitely not cheap to mod.

Hey man I’m moving out to Washington Monday and I just bought a 19 STI where would you recommend taking it for pro tuning ?

My 2019 has been reliable and I learned quick to check the oil level religiously. With just an intake, downpipe and tune I've been happy til now. Put on some new tires a few months ago which felt amazing but idk where to start. I'd like a reliable 400ish whp with upgrades that can handle 500 and I've been told that would be feasible with pretty much an FMIC, fuel pump, injectors and a little bigger turbo that maybe helps the mid-upper range>? I wanna do the work myself too but its impossible to find the same info in two place...where do I start!!?
The most reliable you’re gonna get is a built motor, get fuel pump injectors, fuel rails, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines, then Equal length headers, FP green, OLM up pipe, FMIC, and tgv deletes. then for reliability mods, logo radiator, AOS, cylinder 4 cooling mod. Might be missing some stuff in here but replacing all the gaskets that will go off by doing those mods is the best thing you can do as well and of course I’d change your clutch now cause it will only be a matter of time till your OEM one goes
Just hit 434 with e85 1300cc injectors hard wired 340 pump catless downpipe and a dom 1.5 turbo blew and injector cause they were used I got new ones put it on the dyno and blew my turbo which was also used and rebuilt by my brother when he had it so I just orderd fp green last night and hoping to hit 480’s this weekend
We have 91..95 .and 98 octane petrol in New Zealand. 98 is only from bp

So with the dual radium pumps is it hitting 500 or no? I have pretty much everything you have but on 1700 injectors and dual 450 fuel pumps. I haven’t had a tune yet as my car is still getting the fuel pumps installed. My goal is 500 wheel.
Yeah, just need more fuel delivery with a larger fuel pump. Bigger injectors will also help.
@@CarsWithJR yeah that’s why I overbuilt my fuel system with the Hobb switch to turn one pump off for idle and cruising. Hopefully you hit your goal.

Just Hit 1k miles on my STi is it safe to get an intake now? Also , dealer recommended me to change the oil at 6k miles but i have seen that a lot of people are saying to change it once i hit 1k miles.. any advice u can give me?
I changed my oil at 1k. I recommend changing the break-in oil to engine the break-in contaminants are removed and replaced with fresh Motul 5W-40. As for the intake, you can get an intake, but you will need a tune. If you have an accessport, make sure you upload the correct map.

How much horsepower can a full exhaust system and intake with a tune make on a 2015+ wrx ?
Not much. For the same cost, you can get a Cobb Flex Fuel system with a tune and make way more than an intake an catback. On a stock WRX with just a Cobb Flex Fuel system and E85, depending on the tune, you can make 30-60 whp.

@@mengdynasty6034 same im going with a small set up. you need more fuel though so ill go with flex fuel fuel pump bigger injectors. supporting mods like killer b oil pan and oil cooler and AOS even equal legnth headers to keep it safe. after that i can go catless pipe thats divorced and intake and tune thats it
