- Who Speaks English in Georgia? 🇬🇪
Join me as we walk the streets of Batumi, in search of the ultimate khachapuri and ask the locals, and the not so locals, if they speak English.
We go off the beaten track and see how great this ''Vegas Style'' city is really like when you leave the touristic areas.
If you enjoy adventure videos from the former Soviet Union and Central & Eastern Europe, then grab your vodka, some zakusky and join me as we meet the amazing people of Batumi in Georgia

0:47 most accurate assessment of Orbi 🤣 If you never saw their apartment balconies, it's almost community balcony.
6:29 you summed up by opinion about Batumi and Tbilisi. For years they (the government) let companies build ugly glass buildings, skyscrapers even in the case of Batumi, but they didn’t even tried to renovate the existent old Soviet apartments.
I thought this was a video about Atlanta Georgia.
I am with you, if you travel just have fun and immerse yourself into local culture. Always be aware of your surroundings but enjoy. Fun video, I appreciate you sharing.
Thank you so much mate.

Hi Susliks, Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the support!!!
Unfortunately on mobile devices I cannot see these contributions and just saw it on the computer.
I really appreciate it.
All the best
Good day my friend, todays vlog was "no english no khachapuri". I hope you found the cafe Retro but it's not recorded, otherwise one of those days(neveziot) you know. Whish you the best.
Hello mate,
It will be revealed on Wednesday
Great video Justin! I believe a lot of young Georgians who speak English have left the country to study/work abroad, which is obviously not a good thing but could be one of the factors - or they were at work haha. Cheers!!
Bonjour Jusitn, avez-vous déjà visité la Gagaouzie/Гагаузия ?
J'adore vos vidéos
Have a great day
Salut Victor,
Bonne continuation,
have a great day !
What another great vid Justin...I suppose it`ll make sense that the young(educated in the main) Russian`s in the country for obvious reason`s, would have an understanding of English...did you find Restaurant Retro in the end?
Thank you Andy,
Yes you are right, and I think it is interesting how things currently are on this part of the world, with substantial population shifts.
Retro experience out on Wednesday... Stay tuned mate👌👍
Retro very good adjaruli ♥️
👍 it is delicious👌
i am Georgian living in Batumi and speak quite good English. pitty you didnt cross the way with my somewhere in Boullvard :)
Looks like a big detour to get to Retro))) Better be hungry before eating khachapuri. Enjoy your time in Adjara!
Absolutely... Took the really long way there.
Thanks Arjen
George! The beads isnt just a muslim thing! It comes from orthodox christianity! They are called rosaries!
Thank you mate for the input👍
@@J.E.E thank you for the awesome videos!
The amount of Russian over there was impressive...but I see why they did that...great video as always mate!
local's are at work not walking around the promenade at that time. but yes there are lots.
Thank you so much mate!!!
Good point about people being at work
was think going Latvia Riga now u make want go Georgia
Poland in few weeks Krakow
Is it safe to walk alone in batumi and also in tbilisi? Thank you
Yes, Georgia in general is VERY safe country. BUT expect some of locals being kinda pushy in terms of trying to approach you if you're an attractive girl. Not in an aggressive way, but that can annoy you if you come from western Europe or US.
Your videos are great but would be interesting to learn how you can afford to travel so much? Whats the secret to location independent income?
Crypto :-)

Would you recommend Georgia?

Yeah, that truck, I think shurik escaped from the loonie bin in that truck.
🤣🤣🤣
How would you describe gergians ? Are they more like germans or italians ? Or are they even more like turkishes or even iranians ? I am asking about ethnicity, intelligence and behavior

@@user-px5oe4ho2j yeah probably south italy and even sardiania, greeks
I want to visit Georgia just to pet the dogs. And eat one of those breakfast things.

You spoke mostly with elder people, that's why they know Russian more than English, yunger people most speak English and do not know Russian
a it weird caz we Georgians speak english and only old generation speaks russian, i understand russian ut cant speak it well
I think, it is highly unlikly for Romeo-to be of ethnic Georgian descent-never met Romeos in georgia,,,,Though...,,Robinsons,,,Jimmies,,,Johnsons,,,Spartaks and Lions: could be met everywhere.Probably Romeo(latin/roman name) is of= ukranian desertier-???
idk, how u met those ppl, that no body speaks English :D
Gopnik position - 👍
English is the world language everyone should know it.
That's a big ask, but it is a very useful language for sure 😊
No one needs to know it. You are the same person that goes to other countries expecting the locals to pamper your needs because you didn't put an effort of learning the language.
@@user-wb1kd9kq5p English is world language...
@@oldskool1979 Every language is a world language 🥸
Я вам не верю, что вы выучили русский 😆
И остальное, которы я говорю?
Shto za glupists? 🙄
Oh yes, Jehovah's Witnesses come and ring the doorbell all the time. I'm sick of it.
