I love this song, and Rod Stewart has been in my collection for 50 years, but I'm gonna tell you this young lady, Amy Belle makes this song so much better. She needs more recognition.
You are so, so wise. Music is emotional, happy, sad, but whoever said that to you is just a fool. You've got intelligence young man, and I love listening to your thought's. Thank you for being such a respectful man, I've got tear's In my eye's listening to you. Keep talking young man, you're amazing. 🙏❤️🇬🇧
Never worry about what others say to you about your genres of music... Rod Stewart is one of the best of the best .. and this song for me always brings back memories of my younger years .. I love all kinds of music.
Damn straight . The album “Every picture tells a story “ was ...........something special. “True blue” was awesome with real top fuel dragster sound. 🎵”Don’t ya think I better get myself back home.🎶
"If you want to know what is in somebody's heart, just look at their music collection." We know who you are, James. I saw that comment in your post about your accident but like I said, we know what is in your heart because you share it with us. Keep on movin' on, James...pay no mind to those that speak without knowing what they are talking about. Be well and take care. Peace.
You are so sweet. The kind of sweet that to me makes you brave and human, compared to people who choose to not acknowledge their vulnerabilities in an attempt to keep a false image of manhood up. Music has such depth that image is the most shallow of its representations. I love your willingness to go diving deep.
The girl singing is Amy Bell.He heard her busking this Song and invited her to come sing with him on stage to get her some recognition. the same way he was discovered
Out of all of the wonderful people who reacted to music I grew up with... for such a young soul whose-in tune with my music back in the day........ your reactions have been amazing. You Grand Mother and I... most probably would have been very close to the same age and yes, both of us loved the same music.... thank you for your love of music and your tribute to those who have inspired you... keep on rocking on!!!!
Man im 23 and this is my groove 60's, 70's, 80's this is what i listen to the most because this is music and it's beautiful music I agree with all that you just said about rap and about music and general about it's impact and power. This type of music lifts my spirit and soul. Subscribed.
This song really brings the onions because I can relate to it. I will not stop crying if one day I decide to see him in concert and he plays this song I will lose my voice singing to this am crying just this moment. I love this song and found it by accident. Love your reactions and true about what you say about music 👏👏👏👏👏
I can't imagine a life without music. Music can bring people together, make your heart soar and give you a reason to get up every morning. At its best, music makes everything worthwhile.
This earlier comment needs repeating :) The girl singing is Amy Bell.He heard her busking this Song and invited her to come to sing with him on stage to get her some recognition. the same way he was discovered
been listening to Rod since I was a teenager in the 70s. He still can belt it out with the best of em today. Oh- and that chick on the Saxophone? OMG. Chills !
I first heard Rod Stewart when I was 10 years old. I liked it then and I still like him. The first song was "tonight's the night", I just liked his style. But then again at 6 years old I like Buddy Holly and the Beach Boys. I was born a 40 year old, musically.
I’ve listened to so much music since I was 12 years old, mostly “Rock” but this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I remember the first time I heard this was at a local bar with a singer/songwriter in front of a fireplace in Lake Orion, Michigan in 1977 and never forget the lyrics and the emotions emoted. Beautiful
Classic Sir Rod, no doubt!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! Love, love this particular duet, w/ Amy, very good and a great story behind her joining him... 👍👍💜. James, this arrangement gives me goosebumps the size of goose eggs... have listened to it sooo many times!!!
I really love your reactions to this great music from the past! I have been a fan of yours for a couple of years now, and as I am 76 yrs young it makes me very happy that you give these wonderful vocalists and this timeless music so much of your time. The fact that you as a young person appreciate the same music that people of my generation and many since then have loved, gives me a lot of satisfaction. Please keep it up, Thank you !!
Rod Stewart holds the current world record for the biggest gig of all time - in 1994, he also performed on Copacabana Beach to to a staggering 3.5 million people celebrating New Year's Eve.
Listen to the original version by the Crazy Horse(Neil Young's backing band), it is just awesome! the harmonies, the vocals, the instruments all are absolutely great
You got me subscribing with this very video and the words you shared. God bless you man I respected my elders always and I thought my grandparents were the world for they raised me in a great Christian home. and I respected others and those who were older and knew they knew what I didnt and could learn from them
@JBLETHAL TV EDIT 1 Carpenters! Fabulous. You do you guy, that's why your subs love you. Peace from the Isolation room, 12 nearly 13 weeks (pneumonia). East Coast of England.
@@DawnSuttonfabfour Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" is a totally different song from Rod Stewart's song with the same name. That being said, they are both good songs.
@@DawnSuttonfabfour They are two separate songs. Dylan's was released in 1974. Stewart's was released in 1988. There was a lawsuit that was settled by Dylan being given writing credit on Stewart's song, but Dylan never recorded the song that Stewart sang.
I congratulate you for your way of thinking, you show a lot of common sense, so scarce these days, continue on this path with a taste for this music and with the maturity that many men should have.
The girl is Amy Belle... my understanding is he met her in a subway station.... and offered her an opportunity.... this particular arrangement... is soooo good. And the entire arrangement builds to the Tenor Sax solo when the saxophonist breaks out... it gives me chills.... this arrangement may be my favorite for this song....
Amy Bell is beautiful and Rob is an icon..... I think Amy was 21yrs old at the time, and was busking in the London underground, when she was invited to sing with Rob Stewart for one night only.....and she nailed.
I am black and one of my favourites band is red hot chilly peppers and others like U2, Pink Floyd, etc.... I was born in Portugal so I wasn't really exposed to rap music that much, I only start to know and listening to rap music when I moved to a different country. I’ve been a fan since 71, I’ve seen him live 4 times & each time was great. Yes you do get better with age I’m 65. You should do the video “Forever Young”. Rod is a big rabbit hole to go down. 🔥🔥👍
As a music lover as I am, I think you should hear songs you've never heard before from it's studio version first and then hear any remix or live version. He did such a good job in the original version.
Amy Bell was a busker from Endingburgh or Glasgow UK and he gave her a break, this was her first performance and you can see how nervous she is and also Rod, he turns away from her to give her space, watch them all clap in the background not easy for a 1st gig !!
What's love got to Do with it. + I Don't Wanna Talk About It and The hairs of Tina Turner and Rod Stewart and their raspy voices= ? Perfect combination heha!
Rod Stewart's raspy voice is just out of this world. Respect.

Rod invited Amy Bell an up and coming vocalist on to the stage to duet with him, and she was sensational, wasn't she?
Rod Stewart - Broken Arrow. My favorite song or his. Always lovin' your reactions😊
just rod singing this song is the one to listen to
