today I learned:
1 in 8 chance = Millions to one
1 in 16 chance = Impossible, you are insane
1 in 32 chance = Billions to one
1 in 64 chance = Oh my God! It is impossible! There's only two spawn locations! And it's a random one each time!

There is a useful glitch found recently that allows you to get the oppressor mk2 on Cayo, I think it’s something to do with destroying it and calling more mutual as you are flying to cayo to do the first prep work. A bit finicky but if done properly I think it’s a damn side faster than using the sparrow. I forgot who found it.
The sparrow is fastest air vehicle in game
@@Sc0musiq yes in travel speed. If I had to guess I think he meant that the mkii is more nimble, and can more easily get in and out of than a sparrow can. Mkii oppressor would’ve had an easier time landing on the top of the comms tower
@@pipsqueack tru, but I feel like 90% of the time that isn’t the problem, usually Matt gets the good spawn on the bottom
If this gains traction it would really make things easier on Cayo Perico. The sparrow might have better air speed, but the speed at which the oppressor is mounted and moving wins the race in most short range objectives.

Another reason why I love Matto so much is the use of the background music, I bet like 90% of viewers who watch, maybe more doesn't know most the music he uses, but as a Nintendo Superfan, it heals me to hear the Nostalgic Music he uses like the Streetpass theme from the Nintendo 3DS, thanks Matto for the Nostalgia trip every time you upload this series

As a possible solution for the bugged sparrow, maybe try taking note of the direction (north/south Etc) FROM the yellow dot where you park the sparrow on the ocean, and look the opposite direction when you spawn on the island. Not 100% sure if it has anything to do with observing when it spawns, but could be worth a try

Mat, you could throw the C4 to the ground, while reversing the Phantom. Then when leaving the truck blow up the C4.
I love these Cayo speed runs, the days I come home and see these videos in my recommended, it brings me joy
I love the background music in these videos. I'm always like oh thats Gran Tourismo, oh thats Mariokart, oh thats Mii Lobby and so on. Its great!
In the cutting torch mission, you probably need to completely stop and only then press E to pick up the cutting torch you cant do it while your character is going forward.
This series has honestly been one of the most fun series on UA-cam I’ve seen in a while, good job! And good editing.

You can make your phone contacts only the ones you need for the runs this can be done in the player menu in inventory.

22:52 as a seasoned oppressor (user) i advise you to run into the oppressor so it flips over before you try to get on it, it'll even skip the animation sometimes

Don't blow yourself up too close to the phantom wedge. I've job warped to the delivery and the Longfin didn't follow. I think it was disconnected from the phantom, so I went back to letting the cops shoot me

The "snapmatic" setting in the settings app on your phone let's you pull up the camera instantly when you double tap the "use phone" button after you've enabled it. That way you don't have to scroll to the camera app like you did at 10:09. Not sure if you know this already, but I'm just trying to help.

By the time your putting your sparrow on the dinghy for the 4th time I'm already finished the doomsday heist 2 times using no speedrun strats and not even trying to rush it.

The field spawn is actually one of the best spawns, physically closest to the island.

32:00 the run probably wouldn't have been this lucky if inputs came through. Because of different time at which you started the heist there would be different random-seed which means you wouldn't have got keys in that order
