I love that you mentioned how important it is to know what is going into the containers before you buy the actual containers! Guilty of that! Geez - loved your video. Motivated!
My husband loves you and he has never watched your de-clutter videos. But my de-clottering has made him love you and me because we have a lovely home that's is getting there. Keep them coming.
A mess messy house messy fridge messy closets messy!!! Then I found you..I dont care about your weight! I look forward to seeing you, you've helped get it to gether...I'm the grand daughter of a Horder an you've helped me so much. Thank you ☺️☺️ I will have a bagel an peanut butter that I've never eaten to celebrate you, thank you for showing me your simple ways to pick up to throw away... you are truly a blessing to my messy cluttered life.
I completely re-org'd my closet last January, and it took me 5 days. It has stayed beautiful, because it is so well organized. For the last few days my daughter and I have been redoing our bedrooms. I am 99.9% done, and am still tossing things. Happiness is being beautifully organized :) :) :) :) Good video :)
I'm on an cleaning and organizing binge. Ur video is just in time. I have followed u from the beginning of ur original channel and u have always been such an inspiration. I have been thru alot with weight and stuff too but I haven't had 4 babies. Girl u look awesome to b the mother of 4 kids. Don't look at urself as anything less! I'm currently on a weight loss journey and I know it's not easy. But I will b the first to say, I wish I looked like u. U have a great smile, and eyes, and of course the beautiful blonde hair. Ur always so encouraging to watch and listen to. U teach well too. I have been into decorating and organizing for over 25 years and u still teach me things. Thank u for being u and sharing ur life with us.
Just drink water with every other drink and walk every day. There's something about walking that's different than walking around work or the house. I lost 45 pounds that way. I couldn't even walk 5 minutes without being out of breath when I started but within weeks I was dropping weight and sizes. I started to crave water and actually wanting to walk and let me tell you how awesome walking is for clarifying your thoughts and just feeling all zen like! Eat what you want. Don't worry about what people say about your body! I've almost died 2ce and I can tell you that weight isn't important... Family, loving and being loved, just enjoying what time you have and letting life's wonderful things like Dawn, sunsets or birds flying etc in are the real things in life!
You're beautiful and you're honest and something is going to work for you, and if not oh well. Life is way too short to fuss about numbers. love you girly!! Great video
I'm team Clutterbug! I feel your pain, sympathize with your struggle and appreciate your rant. I also like your decluttering and organizing tips. You've found a new subbie in me.
Thanks for the Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Mahorrla Control Clutter Method (search on google)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for decluttering your home without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend Sam finally got excellent success with it.
Usually I cut short the UA-cam videos that I watch but I ALWAYS watch yours until the end. That's where the best stuff is. Love your videos. Keep that attitude...it's so honest!
Awesome video! I love these tips. I'm a pretty organized person, though I'm always striving to get better and to stay that way. Recently I moved, and being organized helped SO much. My extended family was amazed that I got a whole apartment unpacked and organized in three days, but it was easy since I just had to move my organizational systems over and make minor adjustments to fit the new space.
I really enjoy your organizing videos. I've been watching you for years and I know that what you have taught has helped me to be aware of keeping my spaces well organized and be willing to throw things out. Thank you!
dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother recently :)
"I've lost control." That's how my house is right now. Tomorrow I HAVE to do something! So I'm glad you have the organizing challenge for me to hopefully regain some of that! And about the begal and pb - one of my fav combos! If you don't want the guilt, just eat half of it or get those mini begals :) I've also told myself that if I have an off day of not eating the best, that's ok!! Tomorrow can be different. And don't worry about the number on the scale - it's about how you feel!! Love your videos as always
ClutterBug would love to see you shop at a dollar store and show us how we can use things there. Vlog yourself walking the aisles and pointing out items and what you can use them for!
I am having the same problem. I lost weight and kept it off for months. It is creeping back and I just don't want to deal with it. Thank you for articulating a very common predicament. You are always awesome!
I am so with you on the diet train, I get tired of worrying about food. I love your videos and your bubbly personality, your a doll ! God loves you and so do your fans🤗!
Oh my goodness, the end is so relatable for me. . It is so hard to want to do it. And for some reason it feels like I have to do it again and again and again. Butt (pun intended) if I didn't I'm not sure how much worse I would be. You may not know it but you in my eyes have so much self discipline to be able to organize and make yourself tidy every day and night. I really wish and want that, I know what I need to do, but for some reason I'm in the same boat there too. Bottom line ( bad pun intended again) you are an incredible inspiration, not many people can say that. Thank-you!
Here's a tip I think you will like. I work as a nanny and part of my job is cleaning up after the girls. I would leave work which was always clean and tidy and come home to a mess I for some reason couldn't keep clean. Then I realized that at home I could get lax but at work, this was someone else's home, their space and I treated it and them with respect by keeping it clean. I find that treating my home like it belongs to someone else has given me the desire to keep it tidy and nice. now no longer worried for suprise visits.
Thank you for your videos. I have gained and lost the same 50 plus lbs hundreds of times so I've been exactly where you are but I think I'm finally getting my weight under control once and for all ... now if only I could get organized!
YES girl!!!! I feel the same way!! I was stressing out about what I can and cant eat and that stress made my blood pressure go up!! No more! Loved the acronym tips too! I tend to go full out on organizing a space and 2 hours later....I have a giant mess, a giant headache and only a little bit of will power to finish! lol! I'm going to try the 15 min thing! Thanks!!
Love you and your honesty! It is such a struggle for so many of us. :( You are such an encourager to many and you are awesome just the way you are! Beautiful inside and out!!!
you look absolutely amazing and beautiful. Aaaaaand not to mention, very healthy!!!! please don't focus on the negative because I did that and the results are not good. makes you gain more weight, so yeah kind of a tip. I'm serious....your so healthy looking and my goodness you can organize like hardcore....so J hahaha. and I'm totally with you on forgetting what the world thinks we should look like....and forget eating like rabbits if you don't like it. I'm with you!!!! just continue to try if your spirit can take it.
I love to watch your videos, you seem very down to earth. I didn't see an update on your diet/exercise, would love to know want to see what works and didn't. But your update is clearly in every video slimming down. I'm impressed.
LOVE this video! I have an 8 year old and a 2 year old so our tiny apartment gets unorganized super fast. On top of normal stay at home mom life, UA-cam videos, and a new business...it's hard to stay organized, so I love these quick tips.
I have the same struggle as you and feel the same way!!!!! If we could become addicted to exercise somehow then I think we could eat whatever we want but I hate to exercise!!! I will pray for both of us. Loved the organizing tips too! I'm super organized but always learn something new. Oh and I made all the Fall recipes and LOVED them. Thank you!!!!!
Watching this three years later but you are not hopeless you are fabulous ! Never give up ! I’ve lost weight and have 30 to go to be my optimal weight . I’m never giving up !
I have lost 40 lbs in 5 months no exercise cause I hurt my knee. I decided to give up 1 thing at a time first was sugar, 3 weeks later I limited bread group, then milk group which was just butter and cheese (no more heartburn) Im allergic to milk dont drink it since 16. Popcorn is free only salt I cant wear some of my clothes now too big but I need to loose 30 to 40 more. My family notices but no one else has. My advice write down your favorite foods you love and find a way to eat them. I love potatos so I eat a baked potatoe with spray butter every night for dinner with salad and fish or chicken My next step is more water which I should of done after sugar , I stopped drinking diet pop 10 yrs ago, a month and a half ago gave up sweet and low no more headaches I think your so neat and love your videos! If your mad it wont work! I know this video came out a long time ago! Sometimes I would go to bed so I wouldnt eat! Funny huh! I wish you success in everything you do!!!!
Amen to the eat what I want. I'm middle age. why? Why? Why do we have to starve? God made us different. Not all size 0's! Your so great. Love your honesty!!
Ha!! Cass, I know the struggle is real!!! I have never been able to "diet" because I love food and if my brain says I should not have it, I want it more :( ....so I can totally relate to you. I know myself and that diets do not work for me so what I have learned to do is to be mindful of what I am eating. I have cut way back on my sugar and allow myself treats, make myself eat smaller portions at dinner or when I eat out, I drink coffee in the morning and do not eat my breakfast smoothie until lunch time....I have learned to avoid too much bread - like if I have toast or a donut, will not eat the bun with dinner if it is a hamburger or sloppy joes....I think those things are helping me maintain and not gain drastically. It makes sense you would gain though because you did pretty much starve yourself the first month or so no one can do that forever nor would they want to, right? So don't beat yourself up over the 15 pounds....that is why diets don't work because you have to literally be on that diet forever for it to work - no falling off the wagon....I try little things too like parking farther away when going to stores, I will sometimes do some jumping jacks if I think about it or dance randomly (do not judge) ....and enjoy the little victories. I loathe exercising and I am a yo-yo because I will exercise and be really disciplined for like 2 weeks, lose inches and a little weight, then not exercise for a month and gradually put it back on....but that has helped me - just trying to be mindful. I do not count calories but just try not to overeat or eat too many snacks in 1 day. Oh, I completely quit drinking diet sodas and real sodas and drink mostly unsweetened tea if tea, and water as often as possible - that change helped a lot too because diet drinks caused me to crave sugar and bad stuff I realized....but if I go to a restaurant and want to splurge, I will sometimes get a big red or fun soda, but you will figure it out and see what works for you - I am praying for you. I too notice when I drop some weight I feel better so try to think/dwell on those things when I am tempted to eat a whole bag of sour patch kids....and I have experienced victories of saying no to something when offered and that has motivated me to do it more often (you know like remembering how good it felt to have some self control?? Anyway, those are my thoughts as it has been a battle for me as well so wanted to share what has helped me!! :)
Weight loss is definitely hard, Cass. It really is a struggle for most of us. I agree, you have to enjoy your life because it is short. I know what it's like to gain back and it's the pits. Just remember you're still smaller than you were when you began so get back on the horse and keep going. I struggle with wanting the wrong foods and not the right ones especially this time of year, ah! I just wanted to let you know you look amazing and you're not alone in your feelings. The main thing is that your healthy as you said 😊❤️. Thanks for the video, I enjoy them all the way from Texas!
great video!! You are a beautiful person outside as well as in. I totally understand the frustration. I've turned 50 and I'm over it as well, cause it dosent get easier and the WORK it takes to be and stay the size I would love isn't worth it anymore. I am just accepting and liking myself in the moment. I try to live by the 80/20 rule of food. 80% real (nothing pre made) and 20% crap ( anything goes). You can do the ratio by meals, daily, weekly.. whatever. And never 2nds!!! finish the leftovers tomorrow! My frustration of food has been simplified for me. thanks for all your videos!!
Love the 15 minute tip! ( I don't really do the big production Konmari method because I get overwhelmed and my kids are anti-productivity agents sometimes.) One drawer a day or 15 minutes is do-able especially for ADD moms like me (and it has fit during kids' napntime as well)!
How's it going for you? I've committed to my kitchen as she proposes, 15 minutes a day for one designated area. I'm about 80% done with it and happy with it thus far. This vid was so helpful!!!
Love these tips- and love that I'm not the only girl who likes (needs) scarfs! Great tips and from a real girl who sounds exactly like me in the diet/body image/Life is too short point of view. I had my eyes opened about what IS and IS NOT important recently. I'm a 1 year breast cancer survivor (double mastectomy). I I DID skinny, and I did it well for 35 years. Now- that I'm 50 & Fabulous? Finding comfort with who I am now, leaves me Time to curl up in my Organized, Peaceful, Tidy Rooms to enjoy! I'm a fan!
Thanks for the video, love the story’s. I don’t know if I’m here for the organization, or the jokes. I know this is an older video, but I’m binge watching your videos. I just went threw my purses , my daughters were happy. Thanks again.
I don't think people know how important and beneficial a professional organizer is honestly it might not be the most popular choice of a career but it is personally rewarding and satisfying for those of us who pride ourselves on order and construction due to the most recent pandemic situation life has become even more hectic and I juggling then ever before so a declutter/ re-evaluateing specialist is in high demand at this time I find it so enriching and therapedic helping others I'm a cancer♋ it comes natural part of the the territory
I love all your videos, they are so helpful, thank you for taking the time, and I agree with you, lettuce doesn't taste good all the time, I love that you are really honest
@ClutterBug Don't let a set-back make you give up! Give yourself a break, both physically & mentally. It's OK to break your diet now and then. If you always deprive yourself of your favorites, you'll crave them even more. Let go of the strict diet you're on, modify it, add in your favorites. So what if you slow down the weight loss process a little? You'll be happier, you'll still get the benefits of changing how & what you eat, and you'll be more likely to continue eating better than you were. Keep up the good work!
thank you for SPACE. I really liked My Great Challenge 30 bags 30 days series. She loves baskets, but decided to throw out each one she emptied or found. She didn't want to fill them up again. Now, several months later, her home is still neat.
Hear you sister on the weight struggle. I've struggled to lose weight since my last child 4 years ago. It's hard, so hard. Thanks for the SPACE acronym. We are in the process of a whole house declutter and organize, this helps!
I'm naturally organized and a less is more (married to a borderline amazing hoarder) person. I loved your tips. I would add--pick a container for something and not allow yourself to go over--like your scarf hanger. Also-- I typically toss manuals as you can find videos or online manuals pretty easy. A great, cheap, safe fire starter is rubbing alcohol. I like to repurpose candle jars quickly and throw out the used wax squares. Just one less thing.... for whatever reason, clothing has always been tough for me to purge. I've been a 0 to a 12 in the past decade (pregnant, lose the weight, twin pregnancy, put on a 100lbs, finally a huge bought of depression brought me to tiny again, add some crazy meds and now I'm a bit larger. I literally have size 0-8 (even kids sizes sadly) but it's a struggle to know what to store or pass on--even though I have super star minimal strength elsewhere. You are so fun to watch. You just beam Joy.
Thank you for the tips, I am going to have to use these when I clean out the family room/toy room next week. I have been dreading it and putting it off for weeks now!
Yes "life is short!!". Enjoy your food, whatever a pizza pop is!!! Love the organising tips, will definitely try to S.P.A.C.E one wee area tomorrow!! Thank you. X
I feel your pain. However, you have done a great job motivating others and have made a big difference for yourself. If it was easy everyone would be the same size. Continue to be healthy and happy and keep making great videos.
On the weight thing: I've been 225 up to 325 and every number in between, but you know what? it doesn't matter. I love myself, I help others, I keep a good attitude, and sure, I'd Like to be back at 225 again, but if I stay at my current 250, I'm ok with that. My point is this: your an awesome person, your videos inspire me and your outlook on life is awesome. The number on the scale is temporary, and never let it dictate how you live and share your life. you're beautiful. your funny. and I can't wait to see your next video!! I look fwd to each one of them!!
I so enjoy your videos and your sense of humor! SPACE is a great tip and I agree - lettuce is for rabbits! Keep the tips and videos coming, you are inspirational.
Thanks for being so honest. Weight loss is so hard. Having kids at home makes it really hard too. Just keep with it. Pity Parties are really good! Cry, Yell! Get it all out of your system and then start again. A little bit at a time and you will be able to make it!
Loved your tips. You've inspired me more than anyone else to "sift" through my closet and get rid of clothes I can't wear because "I've gained weight". I've been hanging onto certain clothes thinking they might inspire me to get cracking and lose weight. I eat a lot of fruit. I don't know how I've gained my extra 40lbs but I have. You are bubbly. Maybe not always, but sometimes you are, and you dress beautifully. You're healthy. That's a definite huge plus!!! Go out, buy some fresh fruit, have a bagel, then have an apple. If you've "lost 40 but gained 15 back" how is that bad??? You've still lost 25!!! That's what you need to focus on. You LOST 25 LBS!!! I'd be ecstatic if I could lose 25lbs
IT'S NOT HOPELESS! DON'T LOOSE YOUR JOY OVER THIS FLUCTUATION WEIGHT. YOU WILL DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO WHEN YOU DO IT:-) JUST BE HAPPY AND BE THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO: HELP OTHERS AND MAKE THEM HAPPIER THAN THEY WERE BEFORE THEY WATCHED YOUR VLOG. LOVE, DIANE :-D
I had a similar problem with my mother and her boyfriend, who served time in the military. He had a bunch of friends who passed away. Being that, he also accumulated a lot of memorabilia from his fallen comrades. I suggested that he clean the place once, but gave me a look that I won’t forget. Shortly thereafter, during a small stint at a reunion for fallen soldiers, I called for the services of Jux Los Angeles, a garage and attic cleaning / reorganization company, based in southern a California. My mother’s boyfriend wasn’t pleased with what I had done at first. As a week passed by since the renovation, much to his chagrin, he had to tell me that the place looked so different and that now, he has a place where he can honor his brothers and sisters; in his garage ( I made it extra special and hung up some uniforms his comrades wore on the garage walls…)
Dealing with the emotional work of "dieting" has always been my struggle, too! Not enough info out there to deal with that aspect of things. We've got to keep reminding ourselves why we started the weight loss journey and what our goals are. For me it's grandkids and help with my arthritis. You've got this!!!!
You look great, I feel health is where it is happening. I am 44 and went to the doctor recently. I have never been overweight and usually pass the exam with flying colors. I flunked this time. I no longer work out like I used to. My doctor rec. 3x/wk. cardio, 5x/wk. walk for 30 min., calcium with Vit. D (yeah, my multi Vit is not comprehensive), drink more water, etc. I started trying a few of these this week and I feel better and lost some weight. I am also more tired so I have slept better.
Never watched your video's before, but after today I will. You have a lot of good (great) points, thanks for sharing! Wishing you luck on your weight loss. You shouldn't be down about the weight you gained back, but be happy about what you lost & keep off! 😀 Even tho I know its hard losing weight & we judge ourselves differently from how others judge us, but your a ver beautiful person inside & out. I don't even know you, but I can just tell you have a great personality just by watching your video's! Your video, but this won't be the last or only one, because I'm gonna watch some more! I really appreciate your help!!
You ending was hysterical! I'm in your same boat. I absolutely hate counting calories or trying to figure out every calorie or points or whatever! I just want to eat and not have a math class!!! Lol.
You are so real life! I love it.... health is a journey and not a destination. Give yourself grace to not always be perfect.

Judith Montel thats a really great idea thanks for commenting this. It can be overwhelming when you have a very bad relationship with food !
Thank you for that advise!
Thx for this, super helpful friend!

I hear that a lot....lol. So funny. Here I am racking my brain for organizing tips and people would rather hear me ramble on...sigh
ClutterBug would love to see you shop at a dollar store and show us how we can use things there. Vlog yourself walking the aisles and pointing out items and what you can use them for!
ClutterBug we came to you for organizing, and we will stay because we like YOU! :)
Mine too.:)
Which is also why I think...I KNOW U would make a great daily family vlogger!
I am having the same problem. I lost weight and kept it off for months. It is creeping back and I just don't want to deal with it. Thank you for articulating a very common predicament. You are always awesome!

I love how open and honest you are. I too am trying to lose weight and feel the same way!!! life is short! haha. thanks for all you do!
Super excited that I just found your channel! Yay! I need more organization in my life :)
Hey Clutterbug! Create a routine for your foods just like you do for your cleaning. I believe in you. You can do it!
I love to watch your videos, you seem very down to earth. I didn't see an update on your diet/exercise, would love to know want to see what works and didn't. But your update is clearly in every video slimming down. I'm impressed.
I'm struggling too..it's so hard and frustrating...but you know what...you look so good!!!
LOVE this video! I have an 8 year old and a 2 year old so our tiny apartment gets unorganized super fast. On top of normal stay at home mom life, UA-cam videos, and a new business...it's hard to stay organized, so I love these quick tips.
my last weight loss attempt lasted 2 days ! I had to prepare for a hurricane and dieting was just too much to deal with. love your honesty.
You are amazing, funny and have a great personality! I love-love-love your blunt honesty!!
Like always, another great video!
Love these vids! I find listening to some soothing music whilst I'm organising calms me down and makes the job less frustrating..
love how down to earth and realistic you are on all your videos💖💖💖💖
Watching this three years later but you are not hopeless you are fabulous ! Never give up ! I’ve lost weight and have 30 to go to be my optimal weight . I’m never giving up !
20 to go that is
I have lost 40 lbs in 5 months no exercise cause I hurt my knee.
We love you for who you are! Not your size, so enjoy that bagel and pizza! I'm hungry now🍕
Weight loss is definitely hard, Cass.
I just love watching you. Such a great personality. I have the same problem with weight. Quit stressing. You are beautiful. ❤️❤️
great video!!
( I don't really do the big production Konmari method because I get overwhelmed and my kids are anti-productivity agents sometimes.) One drawer a day or 15 minutes is do-able especially for ADD moms like me (and it has fit during kids' napntime as well)!
love, love, love your personality! You are so helpful and resourceful. You are beautiful inside out! thanks for taking the time to make this videos.
Sort Purge Assign Contain Evaluate! Thanks, got it. Looking forward to using this. 👍
How's it going for you? I've committed to my kitchen as she proposes, 15 minutes a day for one designated area. I'm about 80% done with it and happy with it thus far. This vid was so helpful!!!
you have the best channel! and I'm glad I stayed til the end! I so understand the struggle! it's real!
Be happy. I totally feel you. You're are beautiful just the way you are. Thanks for another great video.
You are hilarious! Love your authentic self!
I love all your videos, they are so helpful, thank you for taking the time, and I agree with you, lettuce doesn't taste good all the time, I love that you are really honest
Thank you for your channel! You are so relatable and down to earth.
You are so sweet. You're not alone with the weight loss dilemma. It's especially hard when you're cooking for a family. I remember those days.
I loved that challenge too!
You're so real! I love it .. I found your channel last night and totally binge watched till 2in the morning lol... keep it up!!
Thank you. X
You are so funny!!... Love your honesty and for keeping it real x
Great info! I struggle with other methods..this makes sense!
Love you and your honesty! I can so relate to everything you said! Hang in there! You are great!
I was looking for an acronym for organizing today, this video is perfect! Thank you.
I so enjoy your videos and your sense of humor! SPACE is a great tip and I agree - lettuce is for rabbits! Keep the tips and videos coming, you are inspirational.
Very useful tips. It is starting to sink into.
I didn’t know about your diet struggles but you know future you seem to be in a safe place in 2021.
Love the little stories at the end. Makes U so real. U make me smile, thx for that. :) :) :)
Oh you !! Your the best... your so honest and funny , I love your videos ... don't change just stay the way you are ... I think your ace x
These are great tips. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for being so honest. Weight loss is so hard. Having kids at home makes it really hard too. Just keep with it. Pity Parties are really good! Cry, Yell! Get it all out of your system and then start again. A little bit at a time and you will be able to make it!
You are so funny. Love your channel for years now. You are my inspiration. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Love the rant at the end! lol. We're kindred spirits!
Love that you are so honest about everything!!!!! ;) love ALL ur videos!

Oops I was trying to read the whole comment and hit reply instead. Sorry.
As a week passed by since the renovation, much to his chagrin, he had to tell me that the place looked so different and that now, he has a place where he can honor his brothers and sisters; in his garage ( I made it extra special and hung up some uniforms his comrades wore on the garage walls…)
omg I love your rant at the end! You said it perfectly, I feel the same exact way!!!!!
Dealing with the emotional work of "dieting" has always been my struggle, too! Not enough info out there to deal with that aspect of things. We've got to keep reminding ourselves why we started the weight loss journey and what our goals are. For me it's grandkids and help with my arthritis. You've got this!!!!
I also gave up my diet. Like you I love food. I am happy with that. I do appreciate your sincerity sharing about it. Love from India.
I totally get the weight loss thing. You're healthy and beautiful :) Screw the scale :)
Thanks!
OMG, I totally agree with you : )
ClutterBug q
I've been studying techniques to de clutter fast and found a fantastic website at Nilah declutter tips (check it out on google)
Lol.
