Jp Rosentreter It seems to like a lot of boost types. I use a tubescreamer and a zakk wylde berserker. MXR 10 band eq works too. It doesn't seem to be picky.

+Thibault Abrial There was no overdrive pedal between guitar and amp. The guitar signal goes directly into the amp!

Do it. These amps are amazing. With a clean boost it will play anything.
