Dont forget: THEY FORGOT WUHU ISLAND COMPLETLEY!! In the Resort Courses in golf, they deleted Wuhu Island from the background completely!! Even the most parts of Wedge Island if im correct.
As someone who plays switch sports competitively and has over 1000 hours in game I can say that there is still a dedicated competitive community revolving around this game

What broke me the most is the fact in the golf courses you can't see Wuhu Island at all, this got me confused because the golf courses are the same from Wii Sports/Resort so it doesn't make sense, let's just wait a few months and if Nintendo won't add more classic sports then there wouldn't be a reason to buy Nintendo Switch Sports.
I agree with everything in this video. All 6 sports in the game (in my opinion) were extremely fun to play with friends and strangers online. Even with 10-12 sports I think this game would’ve survived a lot longer
You can be a sucker for little details all you want but if the devs that spent less time modeling coffee cups and instead worked on another sport the game would have been a lot better. Why not make coffee cups in the background DLC and make a better game at launch instead, Wii sports resort has 12 sports on the face but the alternates add a lot. There is really more like 15 individual activities. If you're going to release a game 10 years later and have half the content that content needs to be perfect. It's honestly better to just play resort. That means the sequel is failed
Its so sad like even dataminers saw more sports were on the way and they just didnt bother like if they put effort into continuing to put more into this game they could of just ported it to the new switch coming but instead let it die
the only way I can think of something that could save Switch Sports, would either be a sequel or have a Booster Course Pass situation. instead of 6 courses and 2 cups, it's 3 sports, The first wave would have Baseball, Air Sports and Surfing, the second would have Boxing, Basketball and Cricket, the third wave would be Cycling, Archery and Field Hockey, wave four would have Wakeboarding, Frisbee and Fencing, Wave Five would be Power Cruising, Surfing and Rugby, and lastly wave 6 would have Wrestling, Freestyle Swimming and Darts. maybe they could change it up. like 1 old sport and two new ones, completely old and new ones. and they could add a few more modes to already existing sports like Rugby for Soccer, or Speed Slice & Showdown for Chambara. I said that once and I'll say it again.
I can't deny anything that you said. I don't exactly hate Nintendo switch sports but it can do much better. How in the world does 7 sports took over the entire spocco Square? I mean where's Boxing? Where's Baseball, Where's Archery and most importantly where Airsports? The game is literally giving us information about spocco Square. If they're not gonna let us roam in spocco Square then why should we care? I don't know about ya but If they only let us roam with flyover sport that wouldn't be a problem for me. To make things even worse lets talk about Swordplay. They literally made a adventure more in the entire Wuhu island for Wii sports resort. Why can't they do the same for Nintendo switch sports? When I heard about the game and there was only 6 games, I expected them to release more! This game is not fun without the classic games
