We are all over this place in this long ~ slow paced ~ video. The weather part is mostly New England centric ~ Day 24 In A Row Snow. But we also look at the historic storm that raced from North Carolina to Ireland as it evolved into a winter hurricane. We then talk about the forecast challenges headed for Groundhog Day., Then we have 20 minutes of story telling here in Weymouth, where iconic Meteorologist Don Kent, along with his brother Roger and their mom moved in back in the 50s. Doug Kent tells us the story of history here on the Weymouth Massachusetts Waterfront. It's a long video with great winter imagery, but not for anyone who is in a hurry.
Watch it when you need a nap, it's a good sleep aid.

Tim, maybe this is your queue to do a retro weather forecast, where you draw on weather boards that slide out? I would totally watch that 👍
I loved hearing the stories from Doug Kent and then I realized Don Kent the weatherman was his father. It would be great to see old videos and pics of the way the beach used to be. Since we’ve lived on the south coast for 11 yrs I love hearing the old stories and seeing the pics back in the day. Westport Historical Society has a trove of interesting stuff of the Hurricane of 38 and more, and more and more!

Wow! weather is worldwide. I love the old photo with the family and the trees look so nice. Wonder whether you could eventually replant native trees and shrubs there before the invasives return?
Can't believe that storm in IRELAND. Had low temp of 9 degrees. temp is 30 degrees at 1;43 PM W Wind at 7 mph. dew point is 9 degrees. sunny, in Rochester ,N.H.
