Cooper Family Homestead oh yeah! It’s not enough to burn but enough to give you that pop! Don’t put it in your garden straight like that.

I've cleaned half at a time but never thought about the spray bottle. GREAT IDEA! I'm currently using 2 separate pop open brooders. One they're in and then the other one I put them in when I clean out the one they started in. I go back and forth, so there is always an empty one clean and ready to move them into when I need to clean up the one they've messed in a lot. I'm definitely trying the spray bottle :) Thanks for the tip, very helpful.

Chickens in the house was a deal breaker for my husband, so I put the water trough brooder in the garage until I was able to build one. Good ideas on cleaning. 👍👍👍👍 We usually use deep bedding and only change it when we change batches of peeps. It starts stinking at about 3 weeks so it works out, bc he dn want them stinking up the garage either. Lol

We have such a large amount in a small place that we did have to clean it earlier than normal. With our quail (RIP) we didn’t have to change it once.

That’s a Great way to clean it out. You can also do a deep bedding method But don’t start with a lot of bedding. Add small amounts at a time and you won’t have to clean it out so much. But great video Thank you for sharing. Take care and God bless♥️

K&A’s Family Homestead only reason we don’t do deep bedding in the brooder is the chicks are a little sloppy...and the brooder is in the house so we get to smell everything...not sure we can cover it all up🙂

4 Kids and a Farm yes you definitely have a point and you have 50 chicks. So that is messy.😊

For my rabbit deep bedding in pens i use garden rakes the smakk ones for cultivating small garden beds works great when they pack the bedding down...or come spring while the ground is thawing

@@4KidsandaFarm rabbits are great animals to have around but can be difficult too ... make sure that they are right for you...but are amazing animals and great for the garden and garden great for them
We are actually thinking about having some birds around but not certain if we really can take care of them they are very different from rabbits but they would enjoy garden bugs

I would just remove the chicks and turn the container upside down
