I visited Vegas for the first time in 99. The Venetian had just opened. We stayed at the Luxor. I still remember that breakfast buffet at the Luxor. Your video brings back the memories.

This was right around my 1st ever trip to Las Vegas as a 22 year old. We were poor kids, staying at the cheapest rooms, getting the $1.99 buffet (it was OK), we preferred to 'splurge' for the more expensive ones that were like $12 or so. But the best thing about Treasure Island was if you were playing the slots- even nickels (so .05 bets, but even for us we could do 3 coins... so $0.15! High rollers!!) They gave out bottled beer for free, tips were $0.25. As a 22 year old, we were in heaven, lol!

So fascinating! I remember always seeing people with the camcorders recording and this is like taking a step back into that world for a moment.
