FOR REAL. The other thing that kills me is small talk between Tom and Jerry about Tom's regretting his speech. It shows that even Jerry, whose only role in the show is seemingly to be made fun of, is well loved and respected by everyone else. Well, the Christmas episode of season 5 was the same but still.

What happens when the most optimistic person meets the most practical person? The transformation of Ben and the love of Ben & Leslie gives a lot of hope towards the future.
Jerry’s advice to Tom was wholesome, and I like how, given how tender the situation is, it seems like the writers couldn’t bring themselves to insert a sucker punch at Jerry, which we might expect given that it’s Tom. It was too much of a win for the entire department.

The perfect wedding for Ben snd Leslie; Leslie escorted down the aisle by Ron, to Donna singing, Champion the 3 legged dog as ring bearer, Tom so overcome by emotion that he has Jerry/Larry/ Garry finish officiating , Ron making the wedding rings from a sconce from Ann's house, and of course theur vows, I love you and I like you. Perfection

I know it’s weird to compare the two and I’m probably the only one who thinks this. I think Leslie and Ben’s relationship is leagues above better than Jim and Pam’s. They never did the dumb Will they won’t they thing, they never had a dumb rift in their relationship, they genuinely seemed liked they loved each other. It’s Natural.
