I think the most defining quote of Ron is when Chris says "why don't you come down to the store and talk to the salesman!" and Ron responds "Better idea: I go nowhere, and talk to no one".
Yes!!!!
Also, "You had me at meat tornado".
When he is offered a vegan meat sample and throws it in the trash 😂. “May I please have another?”
and "can i help u with anything?" "i know more than you" "okay"
Or "I once worked with a guy for 3 years and never learned his name. Best friend I ever had! We still never talk sometimes.
Ben explaining his board game is brilliantly written and delivered
“tHe ArBiTeR”
tbh it seems like a fun game and I've played crunchier.
So much work for just a couple of minutes! Done admirably.
“First you roll three dice to see how many dice you roll.”
Brilliant.
@@nuncapasaran9374 Someone made it irl, so it would fit all the rules listed
The fact that Swanson remains so stoic in the first clip is a testament to his deep and abiding love of Diane. 💞
Forreal. Holy terror children
No Chris or Donna is crazy…
Chris was LITERALLY one of the most entertaining characters.
I think it’s because they are specifically looking for cold opens. And there might have not been one for them. I agree though. Great characters.
I’m like, this list is incomplete. 😢
Chris especially was one of the main cbaracters and hes arguably the most famous actor on the show (discounting some celebrity guest stars). He was more famous then Joe Biden when Biden first got brought up
no Donna is devastating. No one makes me laugh as consistently as Donna
@@gabriellabermanhaving never watched the show, does her personality consist of anything other than “I am rich and my family is well connected”
Love the very subtle callback when Ron is asked about having an overdue library book. He responds "Do I?" which is a question. In another episode, he said that he always answers government lawyer/worker questions with other questions to be passively hostile. This show is brilliant!
I would 100% play Cones of Dunshire with Ben, it would be epic. I am very impressed he managed to put a game together so quickly. I assume he has the minis lying around already painted too. So cute. 😆
My sisters fiancé is a lot like Ben lol. This reminds me of him explaining how to play Settlers of Catan to us.White people stuff hardcore
I'll never not crack up at Jean Ralphio singing "The Woooooorst" until he makes Ben fall to the floor!
love all jean ralphio scene, when he sang bounce bounce bounce bounce-bounce to Donna, I lol'd!
@@quirkquestingme too, he is so iconic and the donna scene is one of my favorite
He’s the most annoying character in the show
@@notwerkinginthishouse8634iconic? Lol he’s the worst
@@amonrodriguez3518 I think he's well-written (as is his sister). We all know we're supposed to hate him, and he's extremely unlikeable (in a funny way).
For a counter-example, look at Gina from Brooklyn 99. She's a terrible character, but the way she's written, the writers are trying to tell us that we're supposed to like her.
Donna Meagle: AM I JOKE TO YOU?! AFTER EVERYTHING MY MERCEDES AND I HAVE DONE FOR YOU?!?!?
Should have included the treat yourself scene!
Every time I watch the Cones of Dunshire scene, I find myself shaking my head and wondering how it didn't occur to Ben that the Maverick should be able to trade lumber for agriculture credits. I mean... It's so obvious.
Well maybe he added it as a special action of getting 16+ on the three dice to decide how many dice you roll.
Hahahahaha!
"See you tomorrow, Jerry" lmao Andy was not listening at all
Yes, but even when you know someone’s leaving, there’s a feeling of habit there. I went to my 51st high school reunion that was combined with the class after us for their 50th. It was astonishing how familiar the group looked because I went to a small school. There were still people I didn’t get to talk to, and I found myself thinking, oh, I’ll see them tomorrow or on Monday. Even though I hadn’t been in high school with them for 50 years! and at our age, we’ll probably never see each other again. That was some of them live in the same town and do actually socialize.
Ron's best quote "I live the way I live. I eat the things I eat, and I'll die the way I'll die"
It's the quote I live by.
I like "You've accidentally given me the food that my food eats" when presented with a salad.
@@mneugent7658 I've used that quote many times
@@mneugent7658😂😂😂
Throwing out the computer never gets old.
It's every civil servants fantasy
1:29 he is a big nerd who cared deeply for Leslie and does very well at his job
Leslie's "oh my god she's amazing" for Tammy 2 always makes me lose it. Simple but its the delivery
For me it's the "good... good day..." 😂
As she slaps beef jerky all over her face😂😂😂
Tammy 2 is the best
I don’t blame Leslie for being concerned that Ben made the Cones of Dunshire in such a short time.😳😥 At least Ben’s game came in handy later on.😉
Not gonna lie, the fact that Ben cooked up The Cones of Dunshire in one week is pretty amazing.
0:02 Andy Dwyer is so fun loving, caring, and has no shame in what he does.
Ahhhh for me?
Don't sass me.
Iconic line.
I wish I had the ambition and energy to create The Cones of Dunshire.
In the modern age the more we understand what an invasion of privacy cookies and targeted ads are the more I understand Ron tossing his computer in the trash
Ron’s reaction to invasion of privacy is my internal fight every time
wait wait WAIT NO CHRIS OR DONNA?
I guess they are not featured in cold opens that much
Ive just found this show a few months ago and I'm so upset i didn't find it sooner. Its actually my absolute favourite and i have seen pretty much every sitcom there is. It's even better than "the office" (which is still amazing) I'm watching it for the second time already and it's just brilliant!!
100% better than the office!
Nothing is better than the office
@@cathyl7944 The Office is great, but I like P&R better. 🤷🏼♀️
I always heard about this show growing up from colleagues, when I finally watched it last week it turned out to be NOTHING like the way I'd imagined it all this time. Can confirm, I kinda feel like I missed out. But this show was DEFINITELY not what I thought it was in my head. I thought it would be something boring, or something only much older people would enjoy. I'm enjoying it more than the office because the characters are fun to watch, not in a making-fun-of-them type way but more of a laughing with them type way.
Damn does Lucy Lawless have a sultry voice.
5:41 lets see April ludgate
Loves dark, shady, and creepy stuff.
Hates anything fun.
Loves Andy and her closest friends.
Hates Ann( Andy’s ex)
dont sass me. - gets me everytime
April describing the Halloween party as disturbingly sexy
11:14 lets see
Ron Swanson who hates the government and likes silence.
But he is willing to put up with it this for his friends and family.
8:41 the greatest gift giver
And cares about the government.
Also loves her friends and family.
I don't understand how the second thing could be a positive.
@@arthurbretas2003 I don’t either of anything our government is in shambles
They really nailed everything about the show. The cast, the writer's and cinematography ect....jus fuckin nailed that shyzzle.
Ben explaining Cones of Dunshire to Leslie is my bf explaining MTG to me.
Diane's children are 'loud' because they are the daughters of a warrior~!
4:11 Tammy 2 (Cerberus) who loves Ron which is code for “ I want to make Ron’s life miserable”
"Tom Have Ford"
*Drives away*
Tom have a Ford.
yea i noticed that to
No Chris? No Donna?
that moma lisa squeak kills me 😆😆😆😆😆
2:56 Tom haverford an idealist who has no filter.
He has no brakes who escalates situations badly.
The way Tammy2 says 'With WHOM ?' Her fancy way of 'you shittin me?'
I’ve seen this show a million times and just now noticed the cigarettes picture and no smoking sign in the background of Tom’s bit.
1:25 "deep into claymation." Six seconds; real deep.
9:40 Dammit Gerry girgich why are we even in this video.
Yeah cause throwing your computer in the dumpster will DEFINITELY get rid of Google Earth. 😂
I feel like bundling Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa together was a miscarriage of justice
"Josef Stalin dies?" "That's right, mom. And you replaced him."
...ok se you tomorrow, Jerry!
hahahahaha
No Donna? :(
And no Chris?
another one could be the broken coffee pot situation
That scene perfectly sums up every character 😂
One of the best shows ever.
Ron and xena,a perfect match
I like it when Ron sells his business for the price of a firm handshake.
I love that the scene that defines Tammy 2 starts with Ron.
I think the best scene that explains Tom is a the scene that doesn’t involve Tom. When Leslie and Ann snoop through his apartment.
10:22 that face says it all
Tammy 2 was the best and I love that they’re married in real life
I love how we all know that the internet is a total invasion of privacy and we all hate that yet we're all still just willing to do it, Ron on the other hand is like what no never throw in the trash should fix it 😹
Andy saying "Okay, see you tomorrow jerry"
When Jerry retires is an underrated line
Well curated!
7:01 they both are the WORSTTTTTTTT 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
Worst part of the show
April’s looks to the camera >>> Jim’s looks to the camera
Where is Donna?
That is definitely how I feel when my son is running around the house all of the time. 😂😂😂😂
I love that Cones of Dunshire ended up being really popular😂
I don't know why this show didn't create a spinoff....The Sapresteins. I would watch Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa all day!
🎶"Don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious" 🎶
They're awful
@@dijosto no, but they are...🎵🎶 The wooooorst.
The show must take place in Tajikistan 🎶
"Joseph Stalin Dies?"
"That's right, mom, and you replaced him"
That one gets me every time lol
Is that an antitank device in Ron’s office????
I'm like the guy who created the game lol, I'm super creative & I always have a new idea!
8:04 in translation her life is a mess
Omg will and Grace!
I don't get why Ann doesn't realize she doesn't like Tom at ALL.
Awww where are Chris and Donna??? Also Jeremy Jamm and Jean-Ralphio’s dad could use a mention. So could Mark, but I understand why he’s not there since he only lasted two seasons.
I've always felt like some of these characteristics are based on the actual actor, especially where Ron and April are concerned.
8:32 she’s lying
That requires the person in the bottom to pull the cord
Otherwise splat
I felt bad people weren't more supportive of Ben's hobbies. But eventually he realized they were too time-consuming and not as productive as he thought which is for the best. I don't believe he was depressed though.
I would have spent most my time in this show's universe punching Jean Ralphio.
I love how Diane has good type of power over Ron. This is the healthy version he should have had with the Tammies
or the removal of the tooth
Aka me quoting cold opens for 12 minutes
6:43 She obviously hasn't met the staff doctor.
i don’t think chris was in this
Judging by her kids, Diane is a terrible parent.
is that xena?
Yup.
Yes.
The show really should have been about Ron and April
Diane is so gorgeous........... I must grow a 'stache like Ron.
Ok, see you tomorrow Jerry!
Charles Muligan SteakHouse wouldve been the perfect cold open for ron. he loves food, hates the goverment, and hates his ex.
I don’t think that had a cold open.
@@amonrodriguez3518 "Indianapolis" (Season 3, Episode 6)

The letters to Cleo shirt feels like his depression or big time nerd shirt... we can see how overused it is cause of the tears visible during the unity concert lmao...
9:12 it's Larry not jerry
Aubrey plaza is gorgeous in the thumbnail
Ann orders catfish and grits. Ben asks about Catfish Ann or Oatmeal Ann...
GRITS ARE NOT OATMEAL, BEN!!!!! How DARE you?!?
She also ordered oatmeal and berries. The "safe" Ann.
What about Chris?
Poor Tom getting his name misspelled 😢
I cant tell if the first clip is meant for Ron or Andy 😂
Imagine spelling Tom's name incorrectly in the video.
Andy: I typed your symptoms into this search bar and it says you might have Internet Connectivity Problems"...
Ok….
I understand Ben and The Cones of Dunshire ❤
Is it any wonder Amy Pohler is the voice of Joy?
Wait…where’s Donna?!?!
The Worerest
Tom’s last name was spelled wrong.
I would love to have a relationship with a guy like Andy along with height. My world never be boring.
