I don’t know why but I am picturing Chris doing a ballet spin completely naked on top of a rainbow and Ben handing out candies dressed as a leprechaun 😂
One of my favourite lines from Ben is “Chris and I used to slash budgets separately. When he will do it by himself nothing will get done, when I will do it by myself I get the death threats.”
@@nidhiraghuwanshi4862 Chris is really nice and doesn’t want to do thing that will make people unhappy, and Ben is sort of mean and ruthless, and doesn’t seem to care about making people unhappy. So when Chris is alone he’s just really nice and never gets any actual work done, and when Ben is alone people hate him since there’s no one to pump people up to balance out the unhappiness
honestly the character development of everyone in the show is what makes it so good. I can't think of a single main character who doesn't go through a major emotional shift. Just such a good show haha.
@@the_savatar He really is. His 'Ah Booyah!' and 'Baba Booey' are unforgettable. His feminist side. His caring side; being yhe most supportive spouse. Ben is really cool
Ben putting music on to tune Chris out and Chris loving it is one of my favourite moments of the whole show. Many great moments, but that one is just so perfect for his character and his banjo sounds crack me right up. I could watch that over and over for the rest of my life without even going insane.
A favorite seen of mine is after Ben lost his job Chris went to check up on him. And still hung out with him. Showing they were more than just work friends, they were real friends
Who woulda thought these two wet blankets would end up being some of the endearing characters in the whole show. When it comes to these two my favorite moment is easily the food poisoning sequence.
Look I'm not saying one of the main reasons this show is so popular is because of its depiction of healthy adult friendships BUT IT IS - Ben and Chris - Anne and Leslie - Tom and Donna - Leslie and Ron - Leslie and Ben I could go on but seriously. This show is so wholesome 😭
Honestly yes! And one of my favourite things is how girls and guys are very good friends without romance and their partners don't get weirdly jealous, and the girls never fight over boys. It's so refreshing.
All the characters are walking stereotypes, but they are so humane too.. So they come up relatable to, and loveable. Mainly bc of their friendships, like those two, or Leslie and ron, or leslie and ann, or ron and andy..
Boring and Dull Mark leaving with Deadpan Nerdy Ben and Positive Health Freak Chris coming in were probably two of the greatest things I ever saw happen on television. Even if these guys only guest starred during the government shut down arc, I would've been happy just with that. Because Mark left.
can we talk about how chris the best thing on this earth?? like obviously i would marry ben wyatt in a heartbeat but omg chris traeger brings nothing but joy to my life and this show
The choking hazard vitamin still gets me because there are companies that still sell those kinds of multi-vitamins; unironically. Not as big as the one in this, but cautiously big for its own sake.
They cut the second part to the part where Ben is trying to shut down the carnival and Chris is rooting for it. Ben talks about how Chris never cut any budget and Ben would get death threats so they balance out to be an effective team haha
Watched Parks&Rec with the family and secretly had a huge crush on Ben. Family told me often I'm just like Chris. These two facts together are very funny
This duo started out as dark, intimidating storm clouds and ended up being rainbows and cotton candy.
3.7k likes and no comments?. Not anymore
I don’t know why but I am picturing Chris doing a ballet spin completely naked on top of a rainbow and Ben handing out candies dressed as a leprechaun 😂
You mean they started out as arbiters, but ended up being mavericks.
Introducing Ben and Chris LITERALLY turned the show into an all time great
agree, Robe and adam kick started the show
Omg YESSS! I was so bored in the first 1.5 seasons, and Ben and Chris just brought life to show!
YEP!!
Agreed. When I rewatch it, I skip right to Season 2.

What episode is that from?
Their Character Development is amazing. We got to see Ben's cool side and Chris's frequent anxious moments and nervous breakdowns.
honestly the character development of everyone in the show is what makes it so good. I can't think of a single main character who doesn't go through a major emotional shift. Just such a good show haha.

A boo-yah!
0:22 "If it isn't Looks & Books."
One of Tom's better lines, honestly.
*Mr Looks & Professor Books” 😌
Yeah most of Tom's "burns" are really lame but this one hits.
The way they stick up for each other's mental and emotional health is amazing. The world needs more bros like that.
Love Chris’s “huh?” face when Ben starts taking a picture of Leslie in roller skates and says this is a fantasy of his.🤣
I love how the one thing that Chris doesn’t reciprocate or react positively to is Ben’s roller skate fetish
Chris does seem like the type of guy to enjoy roller skating, so hearing his best friend say that turns him on, caught him off guard
I'm an auditor and Ben Wyatt feels like a personal attack, he is such an accurate character.
Ah but have you found love yet in a dysfunctional small town?
Do you also have an unhealthy obsession to Calzone
Have you ever worn a batman suit and promptly broken down in tears?
@@01Latchy Who hasn't, amirite?
Do you always talk about nerd stuff?
“Usually you can only get board game T-shirts in XXL!”
That caught me off guard.
"Even Ben is dancing" I died! 😂😂

Gets me every time too. 😂
The reason Rob Lowe was never nominated for an award playing Chris Traeger is because everyone knew he was just playing himself.
His Wikipedia article says different things.
@@jopalm3649 people are capable of changing and being better, tho it doesnt excuse his previous behavior
Rob Lowe is NOT the ray of sunshine and pot of positivity as Chris is
Should watch him on Are you garbage podcast
I just love their auditing dynamic.
I wish we had more of that in the show
Chris playing air banjo is beyond epic!
What was the song, It is literally the best song I heard.

It's really well directed, too. The shot was lined up perfectly.
It is such a good shot i swear😂😂

When Ben said “Usually you can only get board game t-shirts in XXL” it sent me ☠️
I relate to that with clothing in general Americans have gotten so fat that most stores don't even carry my size anymore.
I always loved their good cop and bad cop routine
I do like how they are actually friends since they've worked together and traveled so much.
Chris and Ben’s handshake is BFF goals.
They are on opposite sides of a spectrum and that makes them so spectacular.
Chris throughout the entire claymation thing was amazing
7:11 Well, aside from that one BIG reason. That was very generous of the writers. 😏😆

These two men are so good!! Always supporting their gf/wife, gentlemen, sweethearts and good looking. Most importantly smart!
Their friendship is truly gold
