    You also don’t need a degree to become an entrepreneur, just passion and hustle. Best part is the income potential is unlimited, I didn’t go to college and managed to achieve a 6-figure income online.

    Unless there's something I'm missing, notaries public cannot charge $150 for a signing. I've been a notary now for 27 years in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina and never been able to charge more than $2.00 per signing.

      @@TheRm65 if you've got credentials, Manitoba is offering fast track visas. I can get a visa in about 2 weeks. In Kansas City, they just posted a district court job with a doubled wage over last May's wages. Kansas is hiring continuously and reps are even going to CR schools to recruit. I'm still a student and I'm getting emails for jobs every single day. They're starting to sweeten the pot with student loan help, higher transcript fees, moving assistance, hiring bonuses, etc. I take my boards next October. I'm so ready to start applying.

    • @tari1609
      @tari1609 5 років тому +1

      The court reporting industry is in need of more people. You can take online classes or bricks-and-mortar classes. You either use a steno machine or a mask machine. Either way, you're repeating what is said in a proceeding and creating a written transcript of it. You do not need a bachelor's, and you don't even necessarily have to complete the schooling for it. You do, however, need a certification from either NCRA or NVRA to be taken serious with perspective employers. I've worked as one for 27 years now and I have found it to be a VERY rewarding and high-paying job. I've mentioned this about five different times now to Gillian but don't think she's seen my posts. Either way, yes, definitely a hidden gem of a job. :)

    I couldn't agree with you more, Gillian! There are so many opportunities out there that we miss because we are busy with something that we really don't like doing. I have discovered Affiliate Marketing and loved everything about it. Not only because it generates an amazing passive income I get the chance to share this to others as well. It doesn't require any degree for you to be successful with it. All you need is patience and the right mindset and you can start. 💛😎

    Girl, you look fab in this video! Great lighting too! I love that you did this video and offered things other than entrepreneurship. Although I’ve been an entrepreneur for almost 20 years, it takes time and money (and a lot of personal development!) to build a biz. I teach the personal development and have for almost 9 years, and it’s sad how many don’t understand the psychology necessary to be successful. Even in careers, you need the confidence to present yourself without the fear of “what will they think of I don’t have a degree”...which is difficult when we’ve all (including employers) been conditioned to think that degree is make or break. But with the right psychology, the degree doesn’t even come into play. Lead with your character, your drive, and your skills and connect from the heart and the right opportunity will find you. One way to help you get there is by reprogramming your psychology through affirmations, although there’s a right and wrong way to do them. (I just did a video on ways to make them more effective.)
    Thanks for inspiring others past these old outdated beliefs with practical advice, G. You’re doing good work in the world. 🙏🏻❤️

    Your info in notary public is not complete
    A notary public does not do signings, to get signings you need to be a certified signing agent besides being a commissioned notary public

    • @scotttovey
      @scotttovey 5 років тому

      I think you are forgetting the differences that is often the case between State laws. In one State, the notary may do signings while in another State the notary as an agent of the state is only verifying the identity of the signers.

    I was a notary public for several years and you do not make that much money. Our going rate per signing was $10. Unless you are working for a large company like an escrow company, you would have to do an awful lot of signings to make any substantial amount of money. There is also a lot of liability when you are a notary. Check out all the facts before you decide on this course as a career. In the end, I decided the small amount of earnings was not worth the liability risks.
    As for postal jobs, they have veteran preference points, so unless you score extremely high on the 473 test, others with lower scores that have military service will beat you out of the job. Just be aware of that.
