People who speak different languages often think in different formats to us (English speakers), in some languages there are words in English they can't really comprehend and the same goes for us in the reverse.

i was diagnosed with family compartmentalization.
its usally caused and paired with PTSD. and its very similar to multi personality disorder. but with family compartmentalization it usually is voices in your head that represents fragments of your personality. of course a lot of people with multi personality disorder also do this, but the main difference is people with family compartmentalization are aware that the voices represent part of you or your sub conscious but are still not in control of what the voices say.

I have voices that only come when I'm at my lowest. They're very faint, almost as if I'm thinking them but don't want to and they tell me that bad things have never happened to me, I'm just a snake and made them up because I'm awful and have no place on the Earth. I was literally at my worst and close to killing myself when I grabbed my hair and screamed, "Shut up!!!" And then they went away. All I can do to avoid them us sleep and listen to music with headphones on. But they feel so much they're my own thoughts and it's awful because now I can't tell if it's actually me thinking them or not. I hate it.

Ava Lee, Hi, if you're hearing voices in your head, like me, you're not crazy as others think you are.
Unless you suffered from a serious head injury or you're a regular user of meth or LSD, there's
nothing wrong with you. You belong to the roughly 1 to 5% of the world's population that have
what is known as a third eye or third ear -the ability to see and/or hear spirits and entities.
I've dealt with this condition for more than 20 years now. There was even a time I considered
suicide. I've analyzed my situation and dealt with it. I'm alright now.
Initially I took those pills and did therapy sessions as recommended but I never got better - the
voices were still there - they came back after my medication wore off. So I did my own research
and found out about the spiritual dimension of my condition. Medical Science ignores the effects
of spirits, they only see it as a medical/physical condition, believing that you're just suffering
from auditory hallucination etc. But if you're really having an auditory hallucination as they say,
then the sounds / voices should be RANDOM and WITHOUT LOGIC, PSYCHEDELIC like in an ACID TRIP.
Instead you hear clear, logical, grammatically correct sentence(s) in ENGLISH, NOT IN Chinese,
Swahili or robot-like speech ! Which means you're dealing with an intelligent being and your
      brain is NOT FRIED.
Another thing, the beings know WHERE & WHERE to attack you. If your brain is
      fried, you would have
these attacks 24/7 anywhere. But in my case it was more like ONLY 10% of the time daily and in certain
places only. Do you have diabetes, arthritis or high blood pressure ONLY 10% of the day or in certain
places only ? Know what I'm saying. So clearly the medical profession won't be able to cure you, not
knowing what the real problem is. If you don/t believe then, do your own research, humor me.
If you believe in God (I hope you do) then you also know that there are angels and demons,
wandering spirits and entities all around us. They are part of what the Bible terms as " powers and
principalities " that rule this earth. You might think I'm crazy weird but I'm not. I'm a
      retired Civil Engineer
from the Philippines, did some 11 years of service in our government in the early 1980's as a water supply
engineer. I also visited the USA sometime in 1991 to 2000, took computer programming there and even made
it to the honors class, this while having these episodes ! You're not dealing with a wacko or a loser. I'm serious,
analytical and in good physical and mental health, even at my age (63 y/o). At the height of my depression in
2001, I turned to God and the Bible. So I'm familiar with its many passages.
Going back to the topic of spirits, this is what they do. These spirits can talk to us telephatically or by
using other meduims/people. When you speak to them, they speak back. Some are jealous of others people company.
They want to isolate you. They like certain parts of your home like your bedroom or bathroom where you are alone.
They can distort speech, make you hear/ think differently to confuse or anger you. They can imitate your friend
      relative, or even your enemy.
They can produce other realistic sounds like
      the doorbell ringing, glass breaking,
walls pounding, cat purring or even wailing
police sirens ! They can play tricks on your mind. They want you to
be dependent on them or afraid of them - to isolate you from others. Some spirits attach themselves to you after
you visit a certain place like a cemetery, hospital or haunted house -places of pain and suffering.
Like people, some spirits are good while others are bad. There's even a certain type of spirit called the trickster
or joker who is naughty at most like a child. The irony of it is usually it is only you that can hear/see these things.
Like a TV channel, they can tune in to your wavelength, while ignoring others. So people think you're crazy. Since the
root problem is spiritual, the cure is also spiritual. Go to God and ask for His help/ protection. I hope and pray that
you find peace. Stop wasting your time and money on medicines and treatment - they don't know what they're dealing with
Sometimes psychiatry even puts the blame on you, the victim ! Whom would you rather believe God and His Word, or the
medical profession who right now are powerless against COVID-19 or even the common cold ?
SOME BIBLICAL PROOFS of the SPIRITS power to distort sounds / speech.
In the Bible you can read the Tower of Babel episode where the peoples languages were altered. In the story of Gideon,
he and his men simply lighted torches and broke jars at night near the enemy camp. Their confused enemies then killed each
other ! How's that possible .. for a whole army ? Great deception by the spirits/ angels. In another story the apostle Paul,
on the way to Damascus hears the voice of Jesus Christ, while his companions only hear thunder. In another story, at a
gathering of new converts, the apostle Peter spoke to a crowd and they heard his message in their own language or tongue. etc
There are others Bible passages as well.

If you hear voices in your head doing the following paterns:
      - your own thoughts are "read aloud" by someone else's voice, you feel like your thought process is highjacked
      - group of voices in your head, 4-6 people, emotionally "rollercoasting" you, putting you in a pattern of anxiety-fear-anger-apathy-calm-anxiety and so on, never letting you stay in one of the conditions
      - destroying your own life "by your own hands", manipulating you into taking the worst choice possible in critical situation, paralysing from doing anything meaningful and beneficial for you
      - pretending that everything is happening "for your own good"
      - not letting you sleep for days, causing to massive weight loss in short period
      - speaking in foreign languages you don't know or don't know as well as they are
      - sometimes causing body feelings of touch or even switching off some systems, manipulating libido for example
      - provoking conflicts and distancing from your loved ones, sometimes going as far as directly controlling their actions or heavy suggestions not realized by themselves, or making them not listen to you when you describe your situation ("doesn't look like anything to me" style, plainly refusing to hear the evidence). You can notice these moments when people start grabbing the back of their heads for no reason, seeming confused and speaking of something making sense to you, but not them.
      - you notice that "angle" of voices in your head that you hear changes depending on location you're at or the route you take, that strength of transmission changes when you're in transit or a very remote place
      - if you try to figure out what is happening, voices confirm whatever theory you have in mind to confuse you
      - sometimes they can highjack your hearing and vision
You might be influenced by a large international organisation targeting vulnerable individuals and "processing" them for (yet) unknown goal, calling themselves "association". Their signature move is treating you as an object, tearing your life apart by mental invasion reoccurring every year or two, lasting a couple of months. They do not care for your well-being, they do not care about consequences. Sometimes they give up on you if you manage to convince yourself you're having a mental illness and this is caused by it, but even then it can last for years.
But there is hard evidence that those "voices" are actually people using some sort of technology to transmit the sound directly inside your inner ear using directional antennae arrays, while some of them are able to "synchronize" with your mind and thoughts to read them aloud to the rest of the group.
Apparently they have to be in a close proximity to you, their range is limited to few hundred meters and they use a system of relays for a longer distance transmission. They can manipulate you to switch domicile to one they have better access to, i.e. condo with adjanced apartments they can have equipment in.
If you experiencing a similar happening in your life, please contact me at gudenberg@ya.ru for data exchange and collaboration. There are approximately thousands of people they have destroyed by their ways, lives broken, people suffering - all for nothing but their goals which they aren't disclosing. If you are in their sight, you are almost helpless. So communication and awareness is our only weapon, as they seem to fear it.

i had the same symptoms of schizophrenia when I was 13. it happened at the time my dad was having a daughter with another woman. i accepted her, but I was not sure why my body did not. i was believed to be witchcrafted by that woman in order to get rid of me as the only child of my parents. My dad at the same time, had a little wound on his toe which swelled and almost doubled its foot size while I was all hallucinating, cannot sleep in days with all the voices in my head working on its own endlessly. i've been seeing and hearing things (demons, dwarves, shadow people and animals, portals, ghosts, holy lights, angels, a third eye from one of the missionary that came to the house before, which looks and form as a regular eye but it's a bit bigger and it can look at any direction just like a regular eye does.) and I feel I was brought into diff worlds. im not saying that all schizophrenics may had the same cause (witchcraft) but as for mine, this was the cause. 2 months have passed, me and my family met a man who was blessed by God. he somehow returned my being to where I should be. and the love of the Lord came through our life as of today. my dad at the same time had his foot to normal day by day. i cannot see it as a mere coincidence. my dad's child with the woman which is now my sister is now 10 years old, my mom forgave the woman and my dad is supporting the child. i am not sure if the woman already forgave or begged forgiveness to the lord for it but who knows. anyway, that's my story. im not schizophrenic anymore, just mild depression and anxiety but hey, not that worse from before. but yeah, we're all good so far.

    • @carminadelamerced6471
      @carminadelamerced6471 6 років тому +1

another thing that made me believe that witchcraft was real:
While suffering these symptoms, I was absent for almost a month from school. about 2 weeks on that month my mom and I visited my school in order to inform the teachers of my condition. when we were about to leave and we always ride a school bus, my legs formed a squatting position on its own! im a jolly kid to my mom back then and I said 'I dont know why but it's more comfortable this way.' as if it were a mannerism to me to be on that squatting leg position everytime i stand up.
fast forward, I was taken to the hospital and been checking a psychiatrist. i took my med called quetiapine. as an effect, i was able to sleep. the missionary with the 3rd eye (that i told awhile ago on the first comment) visited the hospital and talked to me while i was asleep. i was somewhat half awake and my lips are moving on its own. she asked me, 'what happened to you? where did they take you?'
as far as i could remember, i replied to this, 'i do not know. i am pricked with 12 needles on my head, 2 bamboos were pierced from my thigh up to my ankles, and i am being drowned with seawater' (because all i picture out was a seashore and a gas lamp)
therefore the reason why i was squatting like that when walking is because my legs were skewed with bamboos. take note that these are all real life experiences i had.

I hear 16 voices in my head, and I have not gone through any sort of trauma, but I still black out sometimes. Most notable of which happened recently when I was at school, then suddenly I was outside in the snow without a jacket leaning on the fence (my school lets kids outside, mostly track kids, to take a break on the football field). I am not quite sure what this might be, but it has some symptoms of did, but at the same time, no major traumas! Worst I can think of is family death at a young age, but that doesn’t do anything much to mental health, right? Not sure what is going on, so if anyone has any help/knowledge they can share, it’d be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this if you have gotten this far, and have a wonderful day today. This is kind of normal especially if you're in a quiet house. I had a bad ear infection a while back, and I experienced "musical ear" which was the sound of soft, almost inaudible music coming from...? Before seeking psychiatric help, I saw my audiologist, and he said basically that thing where you hear someone calling your name is like your brain doing a type of sound check if it hasn't heard much noise for a while. My hearing WAS being diminished, so my brain went from hearing my name called to just hearing music. Once the infection went away, my hearing returned, the music stopped.

I listen to voices in my head every day all day.
It’s incredibly frustrating they say horrible things that discourage me and make me depressed. They change topic depending how I feel I no matter what I do I can’t stop hearing them. My doctor has prescribed me some medicine to help me sleep and function and thanks to it I can live a normal productive life and also have many friends. The problem is there and is not gonna go away so I have learned to cope with it a day at a time. If you suffer from this don’t be afraid to look for help. It’s horrible to hear voices you can’t stop it’s a terrible thing but with enough help you can maybe not recover but learn to live with it.

Muffin Klutz schizophrenia isnt the only disorder involving voices and hearing voices is quite common, if the voices are negative or impairing your daily life then I would advise you talk to a doctor or a loved one but voices can be quite normal and as long as its not hurting you or anyone it is usually okay, however if you suffer from other mental disorders/health issues and have started hearing voices then it may be a sign that your mental state is deteriorating and it may be worth seeking help for. I'm not a professional and this info is not 100% proven its simply stuff I've heard about from school and friends ect so please take it however u wish and I hope ur okay!

The cavendish bananas you eat are basically all from the same plant. They are all genetically the identical. Some diseases are starting to effect them and without breeding and genetic diversity it is only a matter of time before they will be wiped out like the Gros Michel before them. There are however a few different breeds around that may resist the diseases that are currently taking hold of the cavendish and if some idiots would quit demonizing GM technology we would be able to save them just like with the papayas.

My wife can even count the numbers of "voices" in my head be the subtle tilts to my head and alterations in facial expression when each "persona" is speaking.
And yet, I don't have Schizoaffective disorder, multiple personality disorder, "twinning" or alters that take exclusive control of my body or mind. Only the "competing interests" that form the TOTAL mind within myself.

Starlet , Hi, if you're hearing voices in your head, like me, you're not crazy as others think you are.

When testing for illnesses that include "hearing voices" they make it clear to see if the voices the person is hearing is internal or external. Internal voices are NOT a trait of schizophrenia. Internal voices are very heavily linked to trauma, therefore linked to traumagenic illnesses. Schizophrenia in itself is not a traumagenic disorder, though trauma and stress can make symptoms worse. They feel that they are hearing the voices from an external force rather than internal, hense why people with DID have an easier time "hiding" their symptoms because they are aware that their voices are not external, therefore they do not mistake it for a voice everyone else can here.

When I’m on my own I sometimes start talking to myself but the other voice doesn’t sound like mine and sometimes eventually just fades out and leaves me saying “hey, are you still there.. why’d you just leave like that?” Or “oh, maybe I was controlling it and can make the conversation again” but I can’t, it takes so much effort and feels like me talking

I saw a comment about this, but the few answers I looked at didn't make much sense.
If a person is born deaf, they obviously don't learn English, or any other verbal language. They'd likely learn sign language... but you can't think in sign language can you?
pretty much im asking if you were born deaf, what language do you think in?

Similar to people with blindness dream. Their brains make up for the lack of one sense by filling it in with the others. You wouldn't think in words, but with images, sensations, and feelings. Our language gives us a structure to organize our thoughts, but it isn't strictly needed.

    • @rawrrawrbinks742

I'm not deaf, but sometimes when I'm thinking I see the words as if they're written in my mind. Since deaf people can learn to read, maybe they think in a way that's similar to that?

Why would they not learn a verbal language, at least by sight, because they can SEE when they're deaf, so they could learn to READ anything. Takes a minute but it happens every day, so there's that. Many people, with or without various handicaps think in pictures, so that's out there, too. My thoughts on it are: The language type(s)/style(s)/method(s) that one communicates fluently with others in, is most likely the one(s) that they think in also. Once learned, a language of any type, creates a viable pathway to connect w/others and to sort thoughts with, as well. It would take to the front of the line, preferred & more capable over what one may have used before learning it, like when very young.

I love when people parrot their education. Parroting is not necessarily right or wrong, but just getting a better grade on how well you can parrot what you are told. A book is great for comprehending and a great reference for parroting what was in the book. The book is not right or wrong it is what it is from a perspective of the maker of the book, nothing more or nothing less. Now run along my little minions and consume what it is written and if you can parrot it's words within, you will be better able to judge such matters with one way of looking at it and say ...I read it in a book, I parrot it's contents well and therefore it is gospel truth. meanwhile the human mind and the place we live in is still lost on you. Someone who has never seen anything would have their own concept of what something "looks" like and they wouldn't necessarily "visualize" it. Those who lost their sight later in life would have "regular images" in their dreams.

I had to see an audiologist for what turned out to be _temporary_ hearing loss during a bad ear infection. I was starting to hear some creepy things like my name being called way more often than normal, then eventually very quiet music coming from nowhere/everywhere. I thought I was losing my mind.... BUT... the ear doc explained that when it's quiet (like when no one is home) you tend to hear less noises. Your brain does a sort of sound system check to see if you still recognize sounds... you might hear your name called. In my case the name thing probably wasn't working, so my brain switched it to _music_ whenever I was in a room alone. [Edit: The human brain can do some amazing shit.]

Sometimes for periods of time instead of having thoughts I have conversation out loud or instead of thinking normally I say things in my head. like it's not really a back and forth dialougue but kind of. OCD and repetitive thoughts sometimes random, most of the time causing anxiety or repetitive thoughts that go against my values. kinda like a voice.

Some nights I hear humming that sounds like a lullaby when I press my ear against my pillow. The more I focus on the sound, the louder and clearer it becomes. Now I suppose it's just the strong wind outside and the humming is just a product of my imagination or my way if thinking. I don't experience this anymore since I found some distractions and sometimes I just sleep with my earphones on.

I have about three voices in my head. It's like there is a pro person with a higher voice and a con person with somewhat of a snarky tone and then there is my inner voice that I hear when I read in my head or think regularly. I do think I need to see a therapist about this because I often address the voices as separate people and have conversations with them in my head and often argue. And lately I've been hearing people call my name in public places but no one is there or talking to me. It's been happening more and more lately. One time I was just in my room when I heard someone whisper my name so I went out to see who called me and only my younger sister was home and she swore she didn't call my name. This has happened in all types of places before like stores, in class, in hallways, in my house, outside, and just eating lunch. I seriously need help.

you should probably tell your parents about this. keep a book and write down all your dreams. this might help. it helped me (because then you don't think about your dreams and people talking to you often) idk if it'll work for you, but it worked for me :)
p.s. you reminded me of inside out 💕

Another possibility is to have your hearing checked. No joke, I was hearing things and it was due to an ear infection. It all cleared up once my hearing returned 100%, the sounds stopped. The thing is, I didn't know my hearing had dropped. It was a _subtle change_. But my brain picked up on the loss, and it was trying to trick me into hearing phantom sounds. The audiologist said it's like the brain trying to run a sound check. But this was mainly because I heard the things in the quiet. If you hear things in busy places, and if it's not caused by your hearing/brain, then you should probably tell someone that can tell you if this is normal.

      Sorry for bad English;
I hear voices to but I'm not mentally ill. I've learned to deal with my voices (they are related to sexual abuse and stress), and I'm happy now (have a job, study, house, and also help people who are hearing voices).

Hearing voices isn't a illness. Hearing voices is a normal human experience. Rejecting the meaning of voices is the same as rejecting the person. Voicehearers who come to the attention of psychiatric services are often stuck in destructive communication patterns with their voices. Giving meaning to voices, making sense of voices, became a new paradigm, constructively creating new treatment roads and ways of recovery. Read ''Living with Voices: 50 stories of recovery'', or ''Accepting voices'' (Romme & Escher).
