3:30 This is going to sound strange, but the cinematography in these KBB reviews is very impressive. I like how the camera zooms in and sweeps the interior of the car while the reviewer takes a step in the back seat without us noticing, the camera then zooms out an shuts the door while the guy is in the backseat. Really makes the review dynamic and interesting!

i came here for the car but after 1-minute watching I was just paying attention to the camera edits NICE JOB with the video
I rented a 2017 Edge for a 2,500 mile road trip. I found the base engine to be a bit slow and the MPG wasn't that good. The NAV wasn't bad and it was pretty well updated. It was also comfy inside and had a lot of features for the money.
I just got one of these two days ago and I'm in love with it very nice vehicle and very nice overall can't say nothing bad about it !
How’s the reliability been? You still loving it? Lol I been thinking about getting one but I’m scared of the reliability in 2-5 years. I always hear Honda Toyota and Nissan are the most reliable but I’m digging this edge lol

Micah, YOU are the BEST!!! I enjoy tuning into your reviews. You nailed it too: I bought the Limited or Platinum version for my 78 year old mother. She loves it. Antique malls, check. But OMG, what’s with all those storage compartments? She finds a way to fill them all with needless random sheyat. No medical tape thankfully. Keep up the great work! PS - You were also hilarious in your Volvo V90 review. That’s my next set of wheels, I’m gonna bring the wagon back!
Why exactly are you 1) buying a $40,000 SUV for a 78 year old and 2) bragging about it? Just admit that it's your car. It's so annoying for men to lie about what they drive so that it doesn't look feminine.
I prefer the exterior of the older model, my mother used to own a 2010 and it looked pretty good. The interior has improved a lot though and I am a fan of that ecoboost engine
Great review, people tend to forget that Ford was the first manufacturer with the self parking technology and the kick lift gate

My opinion: Will definitely be outshined by the Explorer, but the Edge is still a great crossover. Still better than anything Chevy is currently offering.

Super reliable car. I have a 2012 model with a 110k. All I’ve changed is tires, oil and battery.

This car is aging like fine wine both in design and functionality. Obviously it is getting dated but still remains competitive. Very impressive Ford.

Nice car for sure, but it sits a bit uncomfortably close to both the Escape & Explorer in pricing. Given the availability of a V6 over the Escape & the smaller, lighter and more athletic nature over the Explorer, it may find its own niche.
Trades46 agreed. Only reason I chose it was that it had more room than a escape and I didn't need seven seats. But I'm now realizing how good the explorer looks 😑. Buyers remorse I guess.
The Edge drives better than the Explorer, especially in the Sport trim. Yes the Explorer Sport does get that epic 3.5 Ecoboost but fuel economy suffers. If you don't need that 3rd row, the Edge Sport 2.7 Ecoboost IMO is the better car.
Does the automatic parking be in every Ford Edge? Like 2017 SEL?

Those small turbo engines are disposable, and that would be fine, if we could run it 90k miles and buy a new engine for $4k, but the only thing that would be around is rebuilds and those are hit or miss. In the end it's not a vehicle I want to own, but almost. Strip all the snowflake garbage off it and it would be much better.

My issue with this car, as he points out, is it rivals the price of the Explorer which gives you so much more space.

Ford has been copying styling details from Land Rover for years after they sold the brand.
D F it's not copying because they owned landrover so they have the right to use those design because they started it .

I have a 2016 eco boost 2 ltr Edge, its giving a squeaky noise when driven. The squeaky noise is intermittent. I have taken it to the dealership at least 5 times and they have not been able to find the cause nor the area from where it’s coming. They say they cannot do anything about it and gave the car to me. I really feel bad about this experience and inefficiency . The squeaky sound takes away the driving pleasure. Is there any way to fix this ?

I worked on this crossover before. God forbid you crash the front. Just the facia ( include lights ) itself is made out of 40 plastic pieces. (Compared to toyotas 8) But overall not so bad of a vehicle

Puff the Magic Dragon in case with ford there many useless parts and the way all the vehicle is designed is very unpractical. Parts are over priced if compared to honda toyora nissan etc. so yea if u crash ford ur done

I got a almost brand new 2018 Edge titanium fully loaded for the time the body shop is fixing my 2018 Mazda cx5. It's a nice looking car but guys I can't even start to tell you how different and (in my opinion) horrible is the driving and handling compare to the Cx5. It's unbelievable that the two cars cost the same (Mazda little cheaper) and have same options but the ford just feels and drive as car that costs $10K less. Visit Mazda dealer people, at least drive both and you will see by your self. Driving this Ford is like being in boat with little control on its handling where the Cx5 totally feels like the car is 100% under your control grabbing the road in a much more stable and solid way.

When is Ford going to do away with the beyond ugly Sony stereo box. It is so old, ugly and ruins every car. So much of the face plate is empty. And the price here in Canada, 57 grand for the top. That is just plain insane.

I love the interior but the exterior is a bit weird. A bit too sporty for me. I prefer the new Cherokee. Probably even the older one.

Buying the EDGE was mistake
I purchased my new EDGE in Feb. 2017 from FORD MOTORS. Until now the car already repaired 7 times under the warranty and still car problems not finished. Transmission + navigation + computer + suspension + AC + engine unusual vibration … etc. Spare parts and maintenance are expensive compared with car quality. this car doesn’t worth the money I paid for. Its bad experience for me with ford. I don’t care about the money I paid for this trivial car but for sure my next new vehicle will not be FORD

Can you review the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander ?
Nguyễn Hiệp took a look at one recently. Feels like a early 2000s car tacked on with some modern gizmos & tech features. The 3.0 V6 wants premium but has lower output than most 4cyl turbos. Leather feels cheap, and the interior is meh.
The only reason you buy one is because of its bargain basement price and/or your terrible credit rating. Go out there and get a lightly used competition instead.
